Like SJhapamama above, I feel that this is the beginning of Tiff moving in to the DeGroot’s spare room.

I don’t think she is crying because Ann kicked the bucket. Please powers that be in Luann world- Get rid of Ann and let’s see justice prevail – the world is pretty much shut in and will never be the same – give us something!

It’s so hard to find adults under the age of 40 these days.

I foresee Tiff becoming a boarder at Frank & Nancy’s house.

I personally think this might be a really good thing for Tiff. Nancy is a great mom and Tiff could really use a stable mother figure in her life. God knows that Tiffany needs an positive older woman who she look up to.

Without tension the story falls into no readers. Tiff definitely needs a maternal friend who is not a saboteur of her happiness. Ann Eiffel is a one-woman criminal who has injured three characters in the history of her role in the strip. Ann is always unfair. So we will discover part of the reason for Boo Hoo, manana.

If Tom Farrell (via Ann Eiffel) eliminated Tiffany’s allowance, Tiffany needs a new place to stay like Brad Degroots spare room. Maybe, goto Pitts Community College with Luann, Crystal, and Tara.Too bad for Leslie Knox.

The most interesting aspect of this is to see how Tiffany and Luann would get along. Nancy may pour on the sympathy, and Luann may help with some tough love. Time for these former brats to grow up.

With Tiff it could be just a broken nail. But I agree with those who predicted that she would become the DeGroot’s new boarder. It’s been clear that that’s where we’re headed.

Tiffany was busted on lying to Bernice about the party, and since she’s the only named person involved with it (and who isn’t a connected cheerleader or football player) she’s being booted from the dorm. Hey, it’s possible….

I was thinking the other day there needed to be someone else added to the Tiffany drama to step in and protect her because there simply were not enough of the characters in this comic strip filling that role. Plus, considering Tiffany’s history with Luann, there would certainly no reason for Nancy to have any ill feelings toward Tiffany. Nancy seems like the perfect choice.

I think I know what’s happening. Nancy stops being a stay at home mom. She finds ‘fulfillment’ in suddenly being able to be a manager, bartender (Her mixology skills leave a lot to be desired), and entertainment director. And all at the same time. And yet, she still has the maternal instinct to comfort a bereaved employee.

Yeah, this is a ’Mother’s Day’ arc isn’t it?

Someone was livestreaming the party, Bets found it and shared it with Gunther. It was not established who was doing the broadcasting.

Ann Eiffel strikes again or perhaps she got blamed for something Stef did at the dorm and is incurring the wrath of Bernice. Ummm I suspect a Daddy issue brought upon by Ann Eiffel who is probably angry that Tiff is not completely under her thumb, or do I hear wedding bells and Tiff now has a step-mom??

So, could this be “it?” Could Nancy invite Tiff to rent the spare 1/2 room with Lu??? The suspense is killing me. Mordy, I need some of your coffee! :)

Oh, no! Dear lord, no! Luann having to or up with Tiffany in her own house?! After all the years of abuse? Why would her parents do this to her?

Let me guess. She couldn’t find enough money to pay for her dorm room.

Oh wait! Do we have the roomie/renter problem solved?

Looks like one of the things I hoped most could happen to Nancy in her new job is about to happen. HOORAY!!! Will Nancy become like a mother to Tiffany? And what is her new problem? Something very serious (like her father’s wedding with Ann or her total failure at the university) or what?

Prediction, Tiff just found out she no longer has student funding. she will have to leave school. thus smashing her dream to become a business mogul. this turns her to a life of strip clubs, and petty theift. Luann finds out Guther is getting married to Bets, which will cause her to sprial into a world of drinking and drug use. She O.D’s and her brother and sister inlaw are the responding EMT’s that come to save her. this starts a whole new dark side for the whole family. Man, this year is really looking awesome!!!

Poor Tiff. She either brought the wrong shade of lipstick or daddy cut her allowance again.

You’re dealing with adults. Young adults.

I was hoping for some Tiff drama this week and voilà! There it is!

I think she is being kicked out of her dorm room. Remember Bernice knocked one her door and made exclamations- but they didn’t show what happened inside. And… it has seemed inevitable to me to have Tiff move in w Luann

This a hint that Nancy will not escape her mama role at the Fuse. Maybe she will picking up Pru’s role here too.

Some think Tom and Ann got hitched. But after Tiffany’s recent new resolve I don’t think that would be her reaction. I’d think she’d show something more like despair or anger. It’s probably something more in the boyfriend, or lack thereof, area.

Or maybe just that she didn’t get the tip she was expecting.

Or maybe nothing at all!

If Nancy takes up a more dynamic role at The Fuse where does that leave Frank? His main interactions have been with Nancy, Luann and a shoe salesman. He hasn’t had an starring role since the Fireman’s 5k Mud Run.

Wow! That didn’t take long. Someone called this weeks ago. Tiff needs a positive mother figure. Unfortunately, she also may need a room! Perhaps it hit the fan and she’s out of the dorm? Or did Ann Eiffel strike again? Oh, the drama, the suspense!! 8-o

If the past few weeks of wheel spinning were a set-up to get Tiffany moving into the spare bedroom at the DeGroots’ house, it’ll have been worth it.

Hmm. Tom and Ann getting engaged/married. Now THAT, is something that I’ve been waiting to happen for two and a half years. “IF” that’s the case, Tiffany should have been prepared for THAT.

Now OTOH:

1) Tiffany getting kicked out of the dorm. Frankly after that big set up this past Winter of moving Tiffany out of her private dorm and moving her in with Stepford Steph, I honestly can’t see G&K changing horses in midstream, dropping that angle and putting Tiffany in that spare bedroom at Casa DeGroot. And if Tiffany can’t afford the dorm room, how is she going to afford the rent that the DeGroots will charge her? Unless Nancy lets Tiffany live at the DeGroots for FREE.

2) Tiffany flunking out of Mooney. THAT would be logical. Tiffany leaving Mooney and going to Community College in the Fall. But Tiff will be leaving a whole cast of Mooney U characters behind from, Kip to Dez. I can’t see THAT happening either. It’s more likely Tiff flunked out of Dr. Fabbi’s class, Ann found out about it and has arranged “punishment.”

Count Me in also, as thinking that Tiffany’s news has something to with Ann. I’m leaning more toward an Engagement/Marriage announcement. Although Ann tightening the purse strings to the point that Tiffany can stay at Mooney under the provision that her grades MUST improve by next semester or else, and she has to leave the dorm immediately and commute to college from her dad’s home.

One thing for sure. If it is indeed an engagement/wedding announcement, Nancy will be “comforting” an engaged Les NEXT.

We have seen Tiffany partying when she needed to be spending more time on her classes, buying clothes and make-up at the mall when she needed to be saving her $. I predict these behaviors are coming home to roost. She hasn’t always wanted to listen to her friends. Nancy may be that someone who Tiffany will listen to. She may give Tiffany the same advice but in the right tone.

Tiffany is probably upset that she can’t go to the mall. What advice can Nancy give? I don’t think I’ve ever seen give advice.

Tiffany is attractive, popular, and ambitious, the kind of daughter Nancy always wanted.

Dad and Ann must have gotten married.

More than one (on this board) has remarked about Luann not working at the Fuse. That may be a good thing for Nancy (even strategic on G&K’s part) whose reason for working is to get away from family life. But it also enables Nancy to be the bartender / mother figure / dear abbey that she can be without a potentially jealous Luann whose presence might cramp her style.

I keep thinking of Hope Emerson who ran the bar during the first season of “Peter Gunn”.

Well, well, well. I was wondering how long it’d take Greg to resume his torturing of Tiffany. I guess she hasn’t suffered enough.

Well, the last time we saw Tiffany she was partying instead of studying. If she was put on AP and lost access to the family funds, it’s not all that unfair to her.

Please no. I would much rather have Shannon move into the spare room than Tiffany.

Remember when Ann came to the restaurant and told Tiffany that she and her father were going to Italy while the bedroom was being remodeled? Well, I would not be surprised if, while in Italy, they decided to get married. And now, Tom and Ann are expecting Tiffany to address Ann as “Mom”.

Remember when Ann tried to get Les to call her “Mom”? (During the lingerie parties)

Tom is quite the fool, isn’t he? He may have gained a new wife, but he lost his only daughter.

It’s great to have co-workers who care enough to help you with your personal problems. Cheers to Nancy for being the Team Mom! Also, her drink sounded yummy! I hate sweet drinks and much prefer something with a bite to it.
