This isn’t a vacation. It’s a photo-op. Showing they are down-to-earth folks, just like their constituents. Once they get off the lake, they will hop in their chauffeur-driven limos and speed off to the nearest airport. They don’t have time for a vacation because it’s only 15 months, two weeks and five days til the election.

Like lots of congressional gatherings, they spend a lot of talk, time, and money for very small return.

After reading a lot of the comments and replies, it’s not hard to understand why this country is heading down the drain.
