Alcohol at first it acts as a preventive vaccine, but at some point it turns infective itself. It must be used carefully, seems few do. I was no good at it, so i gave it up many years ago.

Drinking humor is lost on me. My mother, grandfather, and mother-in-law were all alcoholics and all attempted suicide during a drunk. The first two were rescued at the last minute but it was touch and go with lasting damage; the third one succeeded.
