We can fit one car in our two-car garage. My wife gets the winter half, I get summer.

What have the kids been doing while you’ve been cleaning out the garage? It looks great BTW.

The first thing I did when we moved to our new home was mark on the garage the line beyond which boxes could not go, so the car always could fit.

There are homes in my neighborhood that are blessed to have a garage. Unfortunately they park outside because there garages are filled to the roof with junk! I would enjoy a garage for my car and not have to worry about cleaning my car off in the bitter cold and snow or getting into a very hot car in the summer.

My house is on a hilly lot. The garage is part of the “walk out” basement. Even if the garage were totally empty there still wouldn’t be room for a normal size car. It might hold a Triumph, MG, or Karmann Ghia.

I don’t see the point in having a garage and not keeping at least one car in it.

Room for “half a car”? You have failed miserably at garage cleanup.

My husband insisted I park my car in the garage. At the time, I wanted a working shop garage instead, so I built rolling stands for all my power tools which could easily be tucked around the perimeter and leave just enough space for my car. Several years and several neighborhood overnight thefts of catalytic converters, I am grateful he insisted!

Darrell, Darrell, Darrell, did you not catch what Wanda’s statement means. If you could fit half a car in there by now, then that means you could fit a WHOLE little two seater sports car. Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to the dealer I go.

Some new SUVs and pickups are so big that they can’t get into a two car garage. “My trucks bigger than yours”

Eh, putting in half a car would be more trouble than it’s worth. You’d have to keep taking your car apart and putting it back together, and they’re really not meant for that.

The cable broke on our garage door opener and the pulley sprang back and nailed me in the forehead. When someone asked how I got those cuts I said that I forgot to buy my wife any chocolates for Valentines Day.

My parents’ house has a three-car garage, split in two. The bigger part has an automated door and can fit two cars. The smaller part has a manual door and can fit almost all of our crapola.

Install shelves and hooks and get the stuff off the floor, then drive the car into the garage.

I don’t understand why people fill their garages up with stuff and leave their car outside. For most people, their vehicle(s) are the most expensive thing they own other than their house. Why leave it outside?

We had a house with a one-car garage at the basement level. In 45 years, I never was never able to park a car in it. Now, I live in an apartment, and park my car in a garage all the time.

our landlord replaced his ramshackle sheet metal and duct tape garage with a shiny new, expensive 2-car garage that he uses to store his customers’ tires. he parks his car outside and his motorcycles at his body shop just down the street…
