So…. What’s he going to do when there is Ice and Snow outside? I can tell that he’s a drama-dog. They all want to be scene stealers.

We’re setting heat records nearly every week. Meanwhile, we’re getting less and less snow and ice come winter. I’ll be dead before it gets a lot worse, but I care my kids and grandkids

If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for dog paws.

When I think it’s too hot here in Kansas (104, 103, 106, 105), I call my sister in Phoenix and she sets me straight :>)

I understand the dog/wolf after-all he is wearing a fur coat. But it’s only 70 it will go to 85 today, rain in the afternoon. On Monday it’s supposed to go to 90, but that’s not unusual for this time of year. As the Earth rotates around the Sun, winter will return and then he will cry out it’s too cold.

Good time to remind dog owners, please don’t walk your dog on concrete or asphalt streets or sidewalks during summer weather. It’s burning their feet, and they can’t tell you that. Find grassy areas to walk them.

We’re supposed to have one of those days, too. I went for my walk at about 6:00 AM, finished around 7:40. Will spend most of the rest of the day indoors.

In at least the last 3 years, almost every month records ‘highest ever recorded’ temperatures. When will the ‘climate change’ naysayers open their eyes?

You would be hot too if you had to walk around in a fur coat all the time

Love how the dog’s tongue keeps getting longer as he gets warmer. Too bad that doesn’t happen to humans

Yes, Wolf, it is hot outside. Inside too, if you don’t have a/c.

From the Golf through Wisconsin, we would love some dry heat … at 70+ dew-points, it might as well be winter as far as hibernating goes.

How does a funny B.C. Cartoon devolve into a dual thread of climate change and assassination? I mean there are places for those two discussions. I went there after the attempt. By all means, let’s exchange info! Stay informed! But this is a COMIC PAGE, right? The wolf/dog was being quite the drama queen! My relatives dog does that. It’s funny to watch that human trait in an animal. (e.g. Exaggeration and being overly dramatic to make a point!) I would caution you that last year there was an expectation that improved "bots’ would seed the internet with misinformation and “stick pokers” to get arguments going, during the election-year. Suggestion. Go to THOSE places for that! Drop out of a discussion that not relevant to the site! Don’t feed the trolls and ignore the bots! (Or bot-like stick pokers!) When the first comment was not about B.C. at all, I realized it’s going to be a long summer and fall. Good luck everyone!

On another old strip (Rose is Rose? 9 Chickweed Lane?) they were calculating the heat index by multiplying the temperature by the length (in inches) of the stretched-out cat.

Climate has been changing since the beginning, before man was on earth. When you talk about 1.5*C as catastrophic, and all caused by man, you need to look at actual data, not computer forecasts. Satellite data (US, EU, & Japan satellites), the last 10 years have been cooling.
