Oh, Elvis, many a young sailor has been lost while mesmerized by the siren’s song. A crinkle tunnel is no place for a dignified reporter. Beware!

I’ve never seen a crinkle tunnel before….I too am Mesmerized!

I hope it’s two intersecting tunnels with four openings … The very thought of four cat tails, one per tunnel, is enough to give a sensitive soul the vapors!

Beware that look in the last panel. Bad things can come of it, especially if you (or anything else) startle a cat with such a look on his or her face.

Ours had a suspended fluffy ball hanging down from the end. Not for long.

Do your cats do the Kessle Run through the the tunnel? Torsten and Esse like to start out on the balcony, get up a good head of steam and speed race through the crinkle tunnel to the bedroom, then make amU-Turn and zip back through to the balcony. (Wash, rinse, repeat)

When my Rainbow was a kitten she liked to run into the tunnel, slide it to the spiral staircase and ride the thing down to the bottom. She is a tough customer.

Lupin might not get the full “creak, squink, eeeep, pop, crinkle” audio experience but he’s sure gonna love the ambush opportunities.

The big thing in my house is when the chewy box comes, I unload the box(usually cat toys) and they play in the box, ignoring the toys.

Is that rare toy that cats like better than the box it came in?

We had the early incarnation of this years ago, no crinkling, just a smooth polyester shell around the wires, Rush, hide, pounce, repeat, then fall sleep in it midway through the cycle. The barn horde LOVED it. So much so we finally had to replace it…. All we could find by then were the crinkly versions. They hated it. They literally looked at us to say “what’s the fun in pouncing if they know we are in here? And who can nap with all this racket?” We gave it to the humane society after it sat ignored for months. I assume the boys will be delighted simply because they don’t know “what could have been?”

Penn and Tommy both rejected a crinkle tunnel after the first exploration.

My 2 don’t like or use the tunnel. With 1 I even took out the crinkle part. But they do love the solid box I got with a soft pad on top.

Perfect for Round Two at 2:30 AM!

So far Henri has just been rain. Still raining as I type. But not particularly windy. And yes, I did eat the entire picnic Saturday and Sunday. My sister and I are going to meet at my eye doctor’s Tuesday and go for ice cream sundaes, which is nutritionally equivalent to a balanced picnic meal, right?

I would get a tunnel for my girls, but I have no room.

Follow up on tiny neonatal kitten: She died in T.‘s hand last night and emailed the Humane Society and they told her to bring her in at 8:30 this morning. Poor little thing. They simply need their mama’s milk and her cleaning.

Most cats love crackly things. That’s why paper bags (with the handles cut through) are such a good toy for kittens. It must be like diving into a pile of crisp, fall leaves.

Felix has had his Crinkle Tunnel since he was 3 months old, now he is 10 years old and he still loves it.

I wonder if a semi-feral cat like Goldie will enjoy that much noise. Outside, noise tends to mean danger. Meanwhile, we have yet another assault on Elvis’ dignity. First, the bath water and now this.

I can’t believe that a Lupin has resisted pouncing on top of the tunnel with Puck inside! Also Elvis has Mezmer-eyes in panel 4.

we have one that is like a pup tent, it only has a crinkly “window” in it. Our blind boy Reilly Loves the crinkle tent!!!

Foxy likes to dive into paper bags, I think I’ll get her one of these.
