Queen Mag and the affable animal alliance forming a plan! Can they take back the wildlands for the good and pretty much kind animals? In the overly enthusiastic words of Thimblefist…. CAN WE?!Also, Mona looking incredibly sweet and cute here.

    BCN musical episode when?

(Or did the “Hamilton” riff already tick that box?)

Is it Thimblefist or is it one of the chickadees who compliments the Queen on her “sick rhyme?” It doesn’t really match with Thimblefist’s personality, does it?

Hmmm. From Mona’s expression in panel 4, I almost think Robin might be correct that she’s a double agent. That, or she’s in it for the power. I hope not, though. I’d rather the doom fall squarely on Wicket.

The war get scloser and closer.. or rather battle. From the sounds of it this is only one fight. And this time it seems our main cats have no real part to play. Which sadly sometims is the role of the news: they can WATCH what’s about to happen but they can’t really do anything.

I guess the “Sick rhyme” comment is the admiring use of sick in present-day slang.

I’m hoping that when Queen Mag and the Mole Resistance capture Montague, they’ll put him into a tiny straight jacket, and find him a cozy place in the animal sanctuary. I picture him rubbing furry elbows with other patients, all wearing bicorne hats, and plotting world domination …

Mona knows about “the owl” at the sanctuary but she doesn’t seem to understand how Wicket fits into the war or the “plan”.

Tommy and Puck are definitely the most supportive characters, but Thimblefist is climbing up the list. I look forward to seeing this plan come together.

    Meanwhile, Back on the Nile

Beatrixia: Thanks for the potatoes, Trev. See you Saturday.

Trevor-Hotep: Right. Tell Thomios I’m looking forward to more of his special bacon-wrapped ham with more bacon.

    Bea: You got it!

Trev: And I have a special trail mix for you, Iron Glove.

    Iron Glove: (Mummering)

Trev: You don’t need to stuff it all in your cheek pouches. Here’s a whole bag full.

Bea: And don’t forget to share.

Meanwhile, Back at the Artisans’ Studio

Maat-Tilda: With the new season coming, I feel it’s time to start new projects.

Sophititi: I got a very subtle hint about that when a new pile of found objects showed up among my craft supplies from where I know not.

Adobe Style: Maybe you should talk to Agnes-Ata about new designs.

    Enter Puckmosis

Puck: Ladies, I would like you to meet Monet Chagall. She’s here as part of the art and scholar exchange from Away.

Tillie: Glad to meet you, Monet.

Monet: You can call me Mo. I love art in any way, shape, or form. But sometimes my supplies seem to disappear, or new ones reappear. No telling why.

Soph: Don’t worry. You’ll have no lack of supplies. As a matter of fact, we just got in a new supply of gold and jewels from the You Call That a Pyramid, recently renamed the oPyramid in honor of our opossum friends.

Mo: That gives me some ideas for clothing design. I understand the calm, cool Louie-Nour is here.

Dobes: Yes. He’s great as long as you don’t startle him.

The Girl has an odd fascination with our Roomba, and also with me needing to occasionally clear out paper, twist ties, bottle caps, socks, etc., that it picks up.

She paused it today and informed me, “Dziadziu, I think there’s hair in the vacuum!”

Me: “Yes, Girl, three dogs and two cats live in our house, there will be hair in there sometimes.”

Girl: “Oh, okay.” (Restarted the vacuum.)

Meanwhile my yard critters are NOT at war, with the exception of the white-footed mice who are fair game for the raccoons and cats and owls. Poor mice. Sucks to be on the bottom of the food chain but if they didn’t get eaten we would be overrun by mice. Right now I am watching on night cam a feral black cat we call Booger ( because he looks like a scary Booger with his huge glowing eyes) encountering a large male opossum we call Pig (because he is the size of a pot-bellied pig! Seriously this guy is HUGE) (should be Opig?). Pig strides straight up to Booger and BOOPS his nose, then reverses and moves several paces away, before both drink peacefully side-by-side from the pool, while meanwhile the baby raccoons are playing all over the yard. Then Pig walks up a grape vine as if it ain’t no thing to walk straight up a vertical surface smaller than my wrist, and disappears into the trees. I love opossums!
