It would be best if you didn’t talk about Calvin with your colleagues. It wouldn’t reflect positively on you as a father.

What are the snowmen complaining about? They don’t have to do homework or take baths and they can go to the snow bed anytime they want.

Just like you don’t talk about Calvin at work, either! >B^D Think, Calvin’s Dad: how many other men at your office might well have kids like Calvin at home?!

Oh, one other: Danger waiting for you, if Calvin were to ever find out how you seem to regard him!! 8^0

Heck, I would have taken a photo of it and hung it on my office wall as a warning to anyone who wanted to mess with me. Or anyone thinking about having kids. At any rate, laughter would have ensued.

I love how his parents always act victimized and never place blame on Calvin’s rebelliousness on their own often misguided parenting. They did raise one very bright, talented and spunky kid though!

At least he was not my parents, who were subjected to a Letter To The Editor in the local newspaper from me at age 14, complaining about the communist parents I had who were stifling freedom loving Americans like me and their KGB-like punishments for deviant thought and speech.

They were proud that the newspaper editor commented on both my penmanship and my command of the American English language, making said letter the first that the editor did not have to edit in over 20 years.

Later that week, my parents got a call from my English 10 teacher on the quality of my writing and how pleased she was I was so creative; but at the same time publicly embarrassed by coworkers and friends.

In the end, nothing changed of course, and I was lectured about the proper use of the public media.
