Good to see Calvin back to making snowmen of the caliber we expect from him.

Hopefully these snow soldiers will actually follow Calvin’s orders.

All the more reason to make the snowmen.

At least it’s not the Hitler salute.

That must have been a pretty heavy snowfall.

So does this mean his presence even gives cold snowmen headaches as he walks by?

A lot of work went into that.

Having a boatswain pipe him aboard would complete the effect.

My favorite from Calvin are his snowmen!

Calvin is angling for an increase in his allowance. Or he’s done something really bad and wants Dad’s protection. He almost never does anything without ulterior motives.

Calvin and his toboggan and snow goons is one of the reasons The Count loves winter. Further enhanced by how he and Hobbs often end up in front of a warm, cheery fire in the fireplace. No kidding.

Could be worse Dad, Calvin could have “Ruffles and Flourishes” or “Hail to the Chief” playing in the background!

These days dad would get pulled over for driving around with all that snow on his car roof. I guess, since it seems he’s the President, it’s Ok.

I’d salute back. Snow goons, at ease!

There’ll be trouble, when Mom goes looking for that bag of carrots.

Dad seems to have better posture when the minions are saluting.

I wish Calvin had made the snowmen about a foot higher.

My dad would have laughed. Maybe even saluted back.

Actually, it surprises me that the car still has snow on the roof. Calvin’s dad seems like the kind of guy who prefers things neat and clean.

Calvin must get an incredible amount of snow on his yard to make all those snowmen!

Personally if I were Calvin’s dad, I would love this.

Now THAT’S a lot of work.

It looks like they are saluting, but actually they are near-sighted and squinting to see dad

I am glad to see Calvin using all of that snow for snowmen and not for hitting Susie with snowballs.

One large snowman will use up most of the snow near it. He could not make that many snowmen from one normal sized front yard.

I might as well quit commenting on internet. In this case, I tried three times – and I said everything positive about Calvin and Bill Watterson… and I can’t find one of them, and one just sits there and won’t go. I even shrunk down my ‘wonderfully’ complimentary comments to smaller ones… still no go. O well. i tried. Thanks Bill – you make wonderful entertainment for me.

I always wonder where Calvin gets such ample supplies of snow.

Where does Calvin find all the snow. I can scarcely find enough for ONE snowman. And even then, it’s full of leaves.
