Now we get to watch him squander yet another day.

My husband was like this in high school, for one particular class (Social Studies). I ended up talking the teacher into giving him a conditional pass. I said, “if he’s back here next year, he’ll just do it all over again. Do you really want to look at him for another year?” So, he got his pass, with a comment that he should NOT be permitted to take any advanced SS classes in the future. I really liked that teacher and didn’t want to see him suffer anymore. :D

Oh you’ve learned your lesson have you? Ha! What excuse will you give tomorrow after you had 2 days reprieve?

Calvin thought his end was in sight but his butt seems to be covered by the Almighty.

Come to think, why would she wait all day to collect it? Would make more sense to do it first thing in the morning—and then assign MORE homework.
