Her look of scepticism at the boys being truthful comes from long experience. Still, you have to love them for trying.

Good morning and happy Humpday to all BCN orbsters! The woman’s expression in the last panel is priceless! I don’t think the boys will be getting a second breakfast. Sending warm and loving orb hugs, bumps, and boops to all. Wish me luck, I have a cat scan scheduled later today, which will hopefully reveal the cause of my frequent attacks of vertigo.

I normally would expect Puck to be the voice of morality (or guilt) when pulling a scam on the woman. But getting a second breakfast are pretty high stakes for the boys.

Sky the Arrogant, my long-haired Siamese, doesn’t do pitiful – he’s all righteous indignation. “Ma’am, Ma’am? Maaaaaaaaaa’m? Where’s my food? The reason I have staff 24/7 is so I get what I want when I want it. You just can’t get good help these days, Ma’am? Maaaaaa’m?”

Love it!! c’mon Woman, feed the boys. Don’t you realize how insulted Lupin is that you could even think that they would try to trick you?!? I mean what’s a little food? Think of the possible consequences of not feeding them! You may lose snuggling rights over this, ankle rubs, extra cat hair on your clothes and/or you could receive hairballs in your favorite shoes, toilet paper shredding, plants destroyed etc. Think hard before you make your final decision!!

The girls woke me just before the alarm so I got up and fed them. When my mother woke up, I shouted “I fed them!” and took a shower. I came out to find the girls eating a second breakfast. When I said, “I told you I fed them. Xiva gave me wake up kisses”, my mother’s response was (to the girls) “You gave your mommy kisses? Oh you deserve more food” It was a legendary THREE breakfast day and they have never forgotten it.
