They’re still out there, aren’t they? Not that they haven’t also changed and diversified into other areas of fixed cogitation. Diversification is the key to success in a changing world, after all. And humans are nothing if not adaptive.

Aren’t some people going to be surprised when they show up and find out that God is a black-Hispanic, lesbian Muslim.

People keep telling me that Wiley’s comics are political.

I just don’t see comics about White Supremacists burning in hell as political.

Well, i guess that you might think that it’s political if you are Klan or a Skin-Head.

It’s funny how many people judge others and don’t look at the log in their own eye. Want to know what hell really is? It’s separation from God.

A long time ago, I was challenged to look at the Gospel of John in the New Testament and to ask the question, “Who did Jesus claim to be?” If anyone reads the passage objectively, they’ll see the answer. And the proof of his claim is that the Father raised him from the dead. Our response is to see that we are separated from him (we have broken his commands and are sinners,) to ask him to forgive us for the decisions that we’ve made to separate us from him (our sin,) and to change our minds so that we are now following him (repent.) We have talked about this in the past. Those who have done so will live eternally with him. This is heaven. Those who reject him will get their way and live eternally away from him (hell.) 1 John 5:11-13 “11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.”

The Richmond Times Dispatch didn’t run this strip today, they ran what I guess is Monday’s strip (it was dated 8-13) instead. Guess they don’t want to offend the Klan members in their readership.

Thought there would be more comments from the “sheet wearer” brigade pointing finger at everyone else over this one, and of course pointing out Jesus is on their side.

At least reincarnation makes more sense than being created only to die once. But that is just within the context not in any reality.

Obviously, parodies of Dante (including one I wrote myself) contain a lot of humor, yet the original has more than a little itself. Then again, if you can’t laugh at poetic justice, what can you laugh about?
