If this was a canoe or kayak or gondola, you could find a way to make it work, but your muscles would get tired after a while because it is an abnormal stroke.
Ya gotta turn the hoe blade 90 degrees for better results. For BEST results, you need oars. (Paddles don’t work so well with rowboats, and not at ALL with robots.)
I took the little twelve footer out by myself at the lake where my parents and I were staying. I rowed out and dropped anchor. In no time a fish bit and I hauled him in the boat. I was so excited and started to row back. I wondered why it was so much harder to row back than it was to row out. I finally made it back to the dock where my dad and his uncle were. I pulled up the anchor and it had mud 12-14 inches high on it. My dad and unc had a really good laugh about that. I felt like an idiot! :)

Hoes do not make good paddles. Paddles make good paddles.

It should be difficult to make this one political but I’m sure someone will find a way.

Then why did he go along with it? Add their IQ’s together and result would equal one decent hat size.

If they be in Indiana, they should know that paddlefish fishing is illegal for a sport license.

If all y’alls gots is hoes, then ya gots to hoe a row, instead of rowing a hoe.
Nice to see a simple pun instead of the usual political commentary – now get back to the trenches!

At first glance, I thought they were trying to hoe a row on the lake bed.
Just watch. The reversal of words will become the way that saying goes from now on. And for most people, it’ll make just as much sense.

They were actually trying to harvest caviar, but found it a tough roe to hoe.
(I can’t believe no one else came up with that pun.)

Might be somewhat useful if you straighten the hoe out.
