Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be

Actually, The Sabre Dance or Flight of the Bumblebee might serve for Frazz. Fanfare for the Common Man is too grandiose for him, and I donât know what he would be celebrating victory over for the Fifth. Some days I hum, âWe Are the Champions,â but I have no illusions.
The 3rd Symphony is more appropriate â triumph over struggle. If itâs the 5th, I think the 4th Movement fits better than the 1st, even though Caulfield is probably thinking of the 1st.
And forget âFanfare for the Common Man.â Go for âTarkusâ instead.
Whatever Frazz and Caulfield come up with, I myself do not, in fact have Beethovenâs 5th loaded into my phone. But I have Coplandâs Fanfare in there, both a ringtone (some symphony) and the full song (Emerson Lake & Palmer), to use as my alarm to get me going on the really important days. Though for even more important days, itâs John Mellencampâs âYour Life is Now.â A little less highbrow, but very good. And those both come a few minutes after Al Greenâs âTake Me to the River.â Because if you canât wake up happy, whatâs the point of waking up motivated?
Whatever music is in your head right now â I consider it a significant triumph and joy to read a lengthy string of posts, most with different opinions, and nary an unkind word among them.
Booker T.âs âHip Hug-Herâ; Mongo Santamariaâs cover of Herbie Hancockâs âWatermelon Manâ; Bowieâs cover of Springsteenâs âSaint In the Cityâ; âApricot Brandyâ, by Rhinoceros; the Ramonesâ âI Wanna Be Sedatedâ; Jeff Healeyâs version of âJambalayaâ; I also have a liking for 60âs and 70âs covers by 80âs and 90âs bands, e.g. âIn-A-Gadda-Da-Vidaâ by Slayer, or Steve Stevens and The Atomic Playboys version of Sweetâs âActionâ. Iâm sure numerous other examples will pop into my head later, along with âhow could I have forgottenâŠ..â
As a point, for the Australian Army, You get to choose your ramp song. My matesâ was âLittle Lion Manâ Luckely he didnât get to use it. [btw, the down ramp is always âAdvance Australia Fair]â.God(s) Bless those Who ServeâŠ.

mine would be Holst âMARSâ

At work, it would definitely be Dragonforce â Through the Fire and the Flames. Home is for relaxing, so it would be Beethovenâs 7th for home.

I wonder if Caulfield was referring to Emerson, Lake and Palmerâs version of âFanfare for the Common Manâ?
