Taking a moment here to think of Brein43 and send her lots of healing purrs, bear hugs, paw power, orb bumps and boops as she bravely battles with cancer. I don’t know if a lot of you orbsters know, but she posted an update on her condition late yesterday—it’s the very last post on the page. I had missed it and probably a lot of other early birds missed it too. ♥ Holding you in our hearts and prayers dear one! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Brein43))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Off topic: Previously I was whiny-babying because my digital (Kindle) Lupin Leaps In lacks the paper doll pages. Then I bought (and loved) the tree-edition. Which I then lent to my beloved (who is not much of a reader) and he read it all in a coupla days, although I have been trying unsuccessfully to get him to read my (digital) Breaking Cat News for One Hundred Years. Therefore I have ordered the earlier book in tree-edition also, so he may read that as well.
Elvis, I don’t suppose it occurred to you that maybe you should hide while you watch the leprechaun trap? And let’s hope it doesn’t catch one of the allied races—such as the one which will absorb all the booze in the area. (we’ll really hope they don’t catch a ba’in sidhe)
Happy Hump Day, orbsters and orbabies!! I love how Beatrix’s pose mimics Elvis’ as they wait for the elusive leprechaun. Also little Alice waiting, plastered against the side of the trap, waiting for the leprechaun to appear; perhaps she wants to steal his pot of gold.
Yesterday I received my Breaking Cat News and Lupin Leaps In books. I meant to savour them in tiny bites as though they were fine, expensive chocolates. Nope, devoured them like poutine, in huge bites and finished both of them before I went to bed. Now Paul says he would like to read them. Georgia, thank you so much for the gift of your art and your storytelling skills. I eagerly look forward to another book, and will definitely purchase the 2020 calendar when it comes out. I am also going to go back to the Amazon site; I just wish I could give the books 10 stars each.

So Beatrix has those 6 toe beans visible in panel 3. How big will she be when she grows into those paws?

It has attracted a mouse though … not sure which one of the girls that is

A ladder. There is a LADDER for the leprechauns to get in!

Beatrix’s tiny tail is SO cute!!! And those little back pockets!

Those leprechauns can be quite sneaky. They must remain vigilant.
MrsXandamere almost 6 years ago
Aww little Beatrix’s tail is still in that adorable stubbular stage where it just sticks straight up! Also love the splayed rear toebeans.

Hey…maybe I’m up too late, but I don’t think the “Live” box is black (as wondered about previously this week).
I think it’s a seasonally-appropriate dark green. Can anyone confirm?

Looks like they’re staking out the last hole of a miniature golf course.

Two cats in plain sight, plus a camera and a mike. Just maybe the leprechauns have noticed, and are a bit suspicious.

Why are the insides of their ears purple?

My, what unusual decorations on the trap. It looks like there’s a shamrock, a pot of gold, a black and white striped mouse, a ladder . . . wait.

Elvis, I THINK they can see you both there…

Beatrix is just adorable in the last panel! Love all the toe beans and the little tail sticking out of her bibs!

“Are leprechauns a problem in this house?” “They seem to be seasonal.” Snerk! A good candidate for the (non-existant) BCN wikiquotes page.

Its bring your Kitten to work day at BNC Headquarters. And what a lucky time to be here, during the annual migration of the leprechauns.

Elvis, if a leprechaun showed up, you know you’d only catch and release it and catch and release it … six times.

Are the Robber Mice just there because they want to know what’s going on or do they have a special use for leprechauns?
