I posted this yesterday, but later in the day so I thought I would repost it:
For those who had problems getting the the paper dolls from Lupin Leaps In with the link that was posted before, Andrews McMeel has a new link on their page which I think should work for everyone, https://www.ampkids.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/BCN_Lupin_Paper-Dolls_c2.pdf
They also have this on their site, https://www.ampkids.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/BCN_Lupin_Cartooning-Guide_c.pdf
I once had German shepherd/wolf cross who was partial to clementines, and a Russian Blue who loved Bailey’s Irish Cream. Yum Yum, however, disdains all human food and drink.
Love Lupins arms crossed in the second panel. And his expression. Puck and little Beatrix arrived just in time to prevent hissing and yowling on the air.
Either they went to the break room (aka, The Laundry) or Tabitha took pity on Puck and loaned them some coffee. While she might have enjoyed watching Elvis go through caffeine withdrawal, there’s no way she could do that to Puck and Lupin
Hooray – Beatrix to the rescue, with an assist from the ever-calm Puck! It’s so hard to cope with a crisis without coffee … and when the crisis is that you have no coffee, it’s even worse.
Pandora Update: (For those who missed my late night post last night)
It’s been three weeks since her last meal. Today I bought yet another mouse at the pet store and named it Bite because I thought Pandora would like to have a Bite to eat. I put her in her feeding bin, stunned the mouse and dangled it in front of her nose. SUCCESS!
She missed her first strike completely but quickly made a perfect second strike and coil. She held it in her mouth just like the last two times but this time she actually ate it instead of spitting it out. I also got a chance to (kind of, sort of) measure her. She’s almost 5 feet long. I’m just happy she’s finally eating again.
Off-topic: Conan & Akiro Updates. Conan is beginning to feel a bit better now, but is still not quite himself. We’ve been adding some toppers to his dry kibble to convince him to eat, but his stomach is still a bit unsettled. Akiro hasn’t improved much, but hopefully the medicine (that is still on order) will arrive soon and help him feel better.
Puck is not much worse, but has not gotten much better. He continues to try to dry heave a hairball, and seems to be uncomfortable waiting it out. Today we had our follow up visit with our vet, and Puck got x-rays. This thankfully showed that he does not have any growths, masses, blockages, or foreign objects lodged anywhere. It also ruled out asthma. He was checked for signs of infection, and that’s not going on either.
The very good news: Whatever is happening does not seem to be life threatening, our vet believes right now he needs time and rest. He’s been given treatments to help with inflammation and hairballs in the meanwhile. Our vet has 25+ years experience, he’s seen it all, Puck is in good hands. I appreciate that he’s not jumping straight into more invasive procedures. (None of us would want to be opened up for a sore throat two doctor visits in just because we can’t explain we’ve got a tickle and a sick tummy!)
It’s hard to wait, and I know you all feel anxious alongside us. It does not seem to be serious, and we have every reason to believe Puck will be ok soon. We’ve all probably had a sore throat coupled with an upset stomach before and know how bad that can feel. That’s where he is right now. While it’s uncomfortable, we’re so grateful it’s not a blockage or something more serious. We’re watching Puck very closely; he’s not dehydrated, he does not have a fever, and our vet gave us his home phone number in case anything changes before Monday.
Thank you for all of your well wishes and kind thoughts and prayers for Puck! Please keep him in mind, we’ll take all the love and hope and good vibes for him anyone’s willing to put out there. I stress again: This does not seem life threatening, just uncomfortable! We’re hoping our poor little guy can start feeling himself again real soon! ❤️
Honestly I think I like this result better than the original one. Beatrix felt really pushy when she took over the behind-the-scenes in the original version.

How can forgetfulness be reckless? To forget is omission. To be reckless is to commit without forethought.
Love Lupin’s face in the second panel.

Hmmm, I wonder if the Ceiling Cats have a cafe bar? Or did Puck and Bea leave the premises? (Bea may know of the local coffee spots)

By the way, I knew a cat who loved drinking tea. No kidding. (tea with milk & sugar, what we call “chaai”, of course).
