It is rare that an arc moves from the Luann crew to unknowns at the last panel which makes me wonder if one of the guys was the one Luann gawked on Date-Pic last Saturday? Will they start talking about Date-Pic and then…Luann?

So 40% are gonna read Bernice’s handout – and 20% will comply. Will Bernice have to deal with the mess?

HORRAY!!!! FINALLY AN ARC ON BERNICE THE R.A.!!!!! IT WAS TIME!!! I have been waiting for almost two years for her story with Piro to progress!!!! I hope it is so and that it will continue throughout the whole summer involving Luann, Dez, Tiffany and EVERYONE!!!

Apparently the “And she’s back.” gag from Friday ends the e-dating arc. It remains to be seen whether Gunther and Bets will be an item in the future.

Perhaps today’s strip signals a summer away from the dire problems we’ve been dealing with. A lighthearted romp away from Ann Awful, Gulag problems, financial crises, and other recent afflictions would be a welcome respite.

It’s impossible to believe that these guys have liven in the dorm for a whole semester (or more?) without being confronted by Bernice’s petty rule enforcement on a daily basis.

one gets the idea it’s been a long time since evans was near a college. you just leave and make sure nothing is broken. My jr year I might have put a crease in a mosquito screen, so I changed up with one in the showers. it was slightly larger but to make it fit, I used Newton’s first law of physics-as I explained it to the RA- if it doesn’t fit, get a bigger hammer-he accepted this.

Ah Bernice, and yes I can totally understand how some students (guys usually) are clueless about college dorm systems. I know this from my son’s and his buddies experience. Don’t focus, as is so often the tendency that this has anything to do with love life at least with these two props, but I wonder if Piro might be lurking?

The money their parents are spending on college is clearly enabling them to have bright future in fast food cashiering.

Believe it or not some students do need these check out sheets. They leave their dorm rooms like they are checking out of a motel, with trash and snacks around, broken or lost furniture, etc. and then get mad when they are charged extra for cleanup and damages.

Hmm. Looking forward to a series with Bernice! Perhaps Piro will make an appearance as well? Our two new “scholars” here are hopefully NOT going to be Bernice’s new “romantic interest”…. haha!

And another arc I really don’t care about. I don’t know why I keep reading this stuff. Just about the time I get interested, there is never any conclusion of any of the story lines. How long did it take for Brad and Toni to get married anyway? And now what? Will it take another year for there to be a bun in the oven?
