But at the same it begs the question: If Luann was truly, deeply, madly in Love at this point, would she really “focus” any better? :)

am i the only one who is thinking this guy should be on say yes to the dress? my mom watches that show so bear with me that’s how i know about it. not that it really matters if he’s gay or not i really don’t give a damn. but in the way that Greg wrote that it got me

thinking about one of the hosts on that awful show. but than i also hate reality tv in general unless it’s actually helping people like Hoarders does for example picking a dress out isn’t

Well I said Zebo might be imperious but is not a bad guy and uses that as a mask to motivate his students, but I did not expect this misdirection, that he would be the key toward Luann’s romantic fugue. Will there be breakthrough?

Well, this is taking a bizarre (if not a bit creepy) turn!

Zebo is the one who finally hit it on the head. But when it comes to Luann’s love life, she’s the cliche of most men: what they have they don’t want and what they want, they can’t have. So rather than being happy with what they DO have( gunther cared and loved her a lot but she ignored him and even took him for granted) they relentlessly strive for what they can’t have (namely when luann chased aaron hill for years…then miquel, stuart, and quill.)

I’m willing to wager that Zebo’s completely devoted to his craft and has never married. :D

It is completely inappropriate for a teacher to be talking to a student about her love life. Even worse for him to be talking to his T.A about such personal matters. He is crossing a boundary and is out of line. It is creepy and could get him in a lot of trouble.

Yes, but how is that different from how Luann is all the time?

On the other hand, the idea of Luann bringing Zebo home to meet the parents has some definite comic possibilities…

some professors adopt an affectation because otherwise the students think: "Why should I listen to this guy, when he doesn’t look any different than my Dad (or Mom)? " The affectation becomes a sort of identifying uniform.

I wonder what wisdom he will impart to Luann? Stay Tooned……

What will Zebo DO with the information? Belittle her for focusing on anything other than the task at hand? Will he share personal stories of his own dating woes? Will he offer helpful advice to help her conundrum?

Pretty much spot on, but should a teacher be commenting on a student’s love life? Not today. Maybe back in the dark ages, but not in today’s world.

Zebo….. knows….. his….. stuff.

Let’s not blame the distraction; we’ve seen her spill a full can of paint on the ground even when she was completely focused on it. Maybe Luann is just a klutz.

As a person with a similar issue (I’ve got a terrible sense of balance), she has my sympathy.

I think it would be hilarious if Ryder is a male figure model for this Art Class.

I have an high school friend who is an art teacher. A lot of people consider her “odd.” Not me!! I think she is artistically eclectic and the kids in her classes become better adults for expanding their ideas of what is considered the “norm” of art.

Well, everyone else is pushing her in one direction or another. Perhaps the art teacher can draw up a more ideal map.

so between yesterday and today…class started and ended… I mean you don’t walk in and have your game face on within 15 seconds…there’s that little adjustment phase…sure she’s distracted almost tripping but she also deserves a minute or two to refocus on what she’s doing anyway having just arrived.

then he’s all like your romantic life is distracting you…like what how would you even figure…in the real world that’s a straight-up guess….Puddles could’ve died and Panel 1 could’ve happened….Toni could be pregnant and Panel 1 could’ve happened…Gunther and Bets could get engaged and Panel 1 could’ve happened…

in the teaching profession, we don’t just jump into students/TAs lives like that…if you’re distracted first you ask and then if they share you can press your thoughts the last panel is oh look at me I know things cause I’m a well-structured adult….maybe he is but it’s also not his business
