Freeze Tag Combat: Couch Edition!

Oh dear Lupin. Did Elvis and Pucky give you this kind of reception when you joined the crew?

Lupin must have feigned calming down enough to get the Woman to let him out of the office. Maybe with Puck the intermediary they can start peace talks?

Will this never end?

I’m a bit worried that Puck might find himself getting whapped by both Elvis and Goldie! Middleman in a cat fight might be very difficult spot.

This misery is going to go on forever. We’re doomed.

“Crouching Goldie, Hidden Lupin” Cat-Fu, anyone?

Puck looks as if he has only one arm in each of panel 3 & 4.

Elvis was here first, I don’t know who was next, Puck or Lupin, but if it was Puck maybe he can remind Lupin about how it felt to be the new cat in the family and how good it felt to be rescued and to join a family.

Oooh, she’s fighting back! Goldie’s had enough and Puck’s the mediator!

Puck isn’t the mediator, he’s the reporter; and Elvis is having to stand in for the anchorcat since Lupin has totally abdicated his responsibilities to the CN station.

Pretty funny how Puck keeps switching the microphone between his right or left paw.

I think Goldie needs to show Lupin his own boundaries.

I think Puck deserves a Purple Heart.

Poor Puck looks slightly uncomfortable between our two combatants.

Is Goldie still wearing her bathrobe? If she is well enough to scrap she is well enough to ditch the bathrobe and suit back up in her detective togs.

When we first introduced our males cats, we kept a glass door between them. They attacked it. When they stopped attacking the glass, we opened the screen. They destroyed it. When they stopped attacking the screen, we opened the door.

They ended up being best friends for about 15 years. :))

I realize that Lupin still feels justified in being sore about Goldie taking his tape recorder, but the only thing holding a grudge will get you is a nasty case of heartburn.

Hexagram 65: New cat introduction fail. No blame.

Scent transfer worked for us the last time we introduced a new cat. Brushed one cat, then used the same brush on the other. Went back and forth for about a week.

I’m having a similar problem since I moved into a new apartment a few months ago. I have 2 twin boy kitties and a dog. They’ve all gotten along famously, but recently the dominant kitty (Dewey) and the dog (Toby) are becoming jealous of each other over me. When I pay any attention to one the other freaks out. They’ve all lived together for going on 3 years, and this hasn’t happened before. Any suggestions out there?

Usually the other cats don’t take sides in a dominance issue. The woman should isolate both Goldie and lupin in the office.

They will solve their issue faster without company.

hey I have a question for peeps please (that’s you, not the snack lol!) .. my cat has gotten a little sick today and thrown up her Friskies.. leaving an orange spot on the carpet. What’s my best option to get that out and get my cleaning deposit back?

Off-topic question— I have two cats, a tabby named Fiona and a calico named Valentine. I’ve had Valentine for 5 or 6 years, and we found Fiona in our shed about three years ago. The two cats will not stop fighting. Any ideas on how to get them to be friends??? thanks!
