Beatrix is excited, Elvis is wondering why someone is noisily interrupting his reading, Puck is curious and Lupin is, of course, annoyed (that Goldie might have actually succeeded).
I’ve been trying to remember the science-y phrase describing the ‘body language of victory" … Psychologists who’ve observed sporting events around the globe see the same series of gestures over and over again, across time and cultures — arms raised, head thrown back, chest puffed up — which collectively are called a “dominance threat display”! HA! No, wonder Lupin is so annoyed!
Back on Feb 17 we saw grass growing in square black pots. Do the People replace the dead grass with new fresh grass, black pot placed in the brown pot?
I would like to know how long cat grass last for you. Mine seem to die after 2 weeks.I’m going to try a bigger pot this time.Any suggestions will be appreciated.
So is that a bowl she just relized she could put water in to drink out of or is that a cat grass growing tray? Looks like both to me, but the storyline really suggest the latter.
And notice the looks she gets from the boys in the last panel. Upset from both Lupin and Elvis, curious from Puck. Lupin, well no shocker there. The detente is over, but at least he doesn’t seem as bad toward her as he was. Puck, he’s just wondering what’s up. And Elvis, is he upset about the outburst or just upset at having a good read disturbed?
I certainly get being upset at having a good read disturbed. Get that way myself. About two thirds to three quarters of the time I can tune out the TV while readng, but the folks who have to gossip and speak so loud that they drown out the TV make it impossible to focus on the book. And can’t ask them to quiet down as they get quite huffy about it. Nor can you go to another room to escape because their so loud you hear them everywhere.

From the Beatles: We Can Work it Out (At least I hope so)
Lupin Try to see it my way, things were just fine until you came along!
You stole my recorder, and I think doing that’s just plain wrong!
Puck: We can work it out
We can work it out!
Goldie: Didn’t mean to hurt you, I was just trying to find what had gone down,
It should all be fine now, but I still see you’re still wearing a big frown!
Bea: Try to work it out!
Try to work it out!
Elvis: Live is very short, and all this arguing is getting annoying, my friends!
Goldie may be wrong, but it’s no crime, and you have recorder back again!
The Orb: We can see it both ways, but still there must be some way to get along,
You know we all love you, so we’ll ask you one more time in this song:
Try to work it out!
Try to work it out!
