This whole story arc is leaving me feeling like Wiley’s gone a bit batty. That’s ok.

Aiiiie! It looks like she has eyes in the back of her head that become visible when she tilts her head froward! Last panel.

(Yes, I know she’s just looking back over her shoulder, but in a WEIRD way. She IS cool ;-) )

So… Danae is batgirl?

I like bats myself, but they don’t seem to work well in organized formations. Quail would be better, except that they don’t fly.

Optimists always expect better things to come. Pessimists figure the odds.

I love how she twirls her toes around.

Also, how the bats being sat/danced upon are saying EEP instead of the EEK.

Well, the bats probably ate the mosquitoes from yesterday, so are full of energy right now.

So sad to see this happening to Danae’s character. I didn’t imagine they’d have focus groups for comics.

LET’S HEAR IT FOR BATS! Among the most maligned, misunderstood creatures in the universe. . . really quite beautiful and fragile. As for Danae and Jill. . .

Glad that I came here. I had no clue what they were flying on and why it was going ‘eek, eek’.

In middle school I called a girl weird and she got very upset. I was very confused, I had been called weird my whole life by a sister who made it sound like the best compliment ever.

Does the Bat Brigade now Eat the Mosquito cloud?

Back in the DOS days I always created a belfry subdirectory off the root on any system I controlled… and that was were I kept all my .BAT files. Just made it the first directory on the path and I could control everything to suit my own needs on the system.

….and so I kept all my bats in the belfry. Curiously, not everyone got it 8^)
