Stupid Henry Payne. I guess he’s jealous nobody goes to him to learn anything, although he does serve as an example on how to be the dumbest political cartoonist in the business. I wonder of he and Louis Gohmert exchange tips on how to be the dumbest in their respective “professions”?
If you think that fair play isn’t a fundamental, then you’re _entirely_ missing the point. I am, however, assuming that when Payne puts all those things on the jerseys he’s just showing his ignorance of what the tall folks are actually† doing. Seems a safe assumption, considering his history of ignorance and misunderstanding.
† … well, the china one was true of about ½% of all the NBA players several years ago.
Funny. I’ve been watching the NBA and looking at the jerseys of the players, and I haven’t seen one of them that says anything like “burn it down” or “riot” or “off the pigs”. The NBA itself, not the players, has been beholden to China (or more precisely, to the Chinese market), to the point that an official with the Houston Rockets was called on the carpet when he twitted support for Hong Kong. Things may be different now.
Mr. Payne, it’s hard enough to make a good point. It’s impossible to do when you start with a lie. Don’t just take my word for it: watch the president; this point is made every day.
Ironically, Payne won’t shut up, but like most right wingers trying to figure out how to deal with the widespread anger over police abuses that fall especially hard on Black men, all he can do is dribble his drooling drivel.
I’m sure that Mr. Payne is just wondering why young Ethan Couch didn’t receive such support from the professional sports community. Some of you may recall that young Ethan was a wealthy white teenager who made a tiny little lapse in judgment. It’s just so unfair, isn’t it, Mr. Payne? /s

Kid will learn all the “fundamentals” he needs from president trump (definitely an inspiring role model) with daily tutoring from State TV (aka Fox News).
It’s been noted by others before, but if wearing a Black Lives Matter slogan on a jersey is an seen as an assault on America, what does that say about America?
Waahhhh! Things aren’t like the 1950’s. Black people don’t know their place! White people aren’t insulated from knowing the consequences of their bigotry, racism, and using privilege to marginalize! I hate it like this!
To be clear… for those who are unfamiliar… In an effort to allow players to express their support for the racial equality movement currently going on in the US, the NBA decided to allow players to wear “PRE-APPROVED” sayings on the back of their Jerseys. These sayings include "Black Lives Matter; Say Their Names; Vote; I Can’t Breathe; Justice; Peace; Equality; Freedom; Enough; Power to the People; Justice Now; Say Her Name; Si Se Puede (Yes We Can); Liberation; See Us; Hear Us; Respect Us; Love Us; Listen; Listen to Us; Stand Up; Ally; Anti-Racist; I Am A Man; Speak Up; How Many More; Group Economics; Education Reform; and Mentor,” … So you can compare those sayings to how Payne interprets them and know all you need to know about this “cartoon” and Payne himself.
Mr. Payne, this is egregious at best. This is a disgusting way to denigrate a movement that doesn’t condone ANY of what you have put out in the world. Shame on you, you are a disgrace.

Henry Payne is jealous of NBA players who have more conscience than the president or his followers.
Who, am I kidding?! Payne doesn’t give any f’ks about conscience!

The NBA players have done more to give back and contribute to Black American communities than anything Trump and the GOP has done in over two decades.
