I think fashion is just a way to make more money.

Ya just jinxed it there, Frankie boy…

Wow, that’s amazing. Ya could knock me over with a feather—-frank’s shirt was IN style at one point. looks like some stole fabric from an abandoned circus tent.

Another Sunday, another lame “dad” joke. Oh for the days of yesteryear when Luann’s Sundays were filled with personal observations that didn’t make anyone feel dumb.

Poor Frank.

It wasn’t rust. It was burnt orange.

Are they stylish TOGETHER?

Poor Frank. He can’t win for losing.

Dang, how old are all of Frank’s clothes? 40 years? He should ask Gunther to make him some sweater vests. Those are pretty hip.

Still waiting for harvest gold to make a comeback. It’s been on the outs since, what, 1970?

About four years ago, my wife and I were going through some boxes of clothes I had put away from when I was in college back in the late 1970’s. I found 3 pairs of Dittos™ “Feel the fit” pants in the box. I tried them on, and they actually fit better than they did back then. I put them up on Ebay and they went quickly. Along with all my Angels Flight™ pants, bellbottoms, and the shirts with the wide lapels. I did not have much of a choice – my wife said she would not be seen with me if I went out anywhere while wearing them. I did keep a pair of the platform shoes, though. Just for grunts.

I can’t believe Puddles is so shallow to look at Frank with more respect just because his shirt colors are Hot! Bad Dog!!!

Monday- Bernice will realize that Jack isn’t a Jacque and she isn’t a Beatrice.

Maybe I blinked, but have miniskirts ever come back? How about bell bottoms? Wedgies? Baggies?

Rust? Avocado? Colour me confused!

I can keep a suit for 20 years, very minimal use. Shirts and pants, though, wouldn’t last.

Nothing goes out of style faster than what’s “in style.”

Rust and Avocado looks 50’s, to me. Not. Exactly. Hip.

My favorite colors. Fashionable or not, they’re in my closet! ;-)

Even this, I predict will have at least 100 comments about it, and 10% will be about Dad’s being depicted as stupid. Another 5-7% will complain that Nancy’s last remark was mean and downgrading, and she should stop whittling away at Frank’s self-esteem. And of course Luann will be called ‘clueless and immature’ for not being involved in some extra credit academic endeavor by at least 3 percent, or they will accuse her of making the whole ‘survey’ up to make Dad feel like a dope. Some others will comment on the shirt, which is kind of ugly, and blame Frank for existing. And some like me will post sardonic, sarcastic, remarks, and be told that they are too mean-spirited and their grammar sucks. Such is life. The people who give a damn are right over there, on the left.

If it’s comfortable and covers my body, I’ll wear it. I’ve never been a slave to fashion.

Oh, and it has to be reasonable. For example, I, a man, wouldn’t go around wearing dresses! d;o)

That speaks volumes. The flavor of the month mentality of the mainstream media has kept the sheep complacent for decades.

Some things never come back. Remember the pants MC Hammer always wore? Like him, they never came back.

I hope I’m long gone before the aqua and various shades of pink come back. I’m an earth tones person, so right now, I’m pretty happy.

Easier to just not give a damn.

Boomers generally don’t wear “Pink”, but if you do then we all support your choice.

As I have said before, my style and sense of fashion would make Marcel Marceau scream.

I like all four. Why do people complain about avocado refrigerators?

Will Rust, Harvest Gold, and Avocado kitchen appliances ever be in vogue again?

I can remember when “avocado” wasn’t a color.

And sunflower yellow. When we bought our house it still had the 1970s kitchen with avocado green, orange, and sunflower yellow.

Rust & Avocado are supposed to be two Different shirts.

Be true to your colors, regardless of what “Fashion” says! If you like rust and avocado, and if you’ve got ’em, wear ’em! Period.
