I have learned to cook some good food. I tend the kitchen, watch youtube “How to” videos, cut my own hair, of course, read and comment on Gocomics.com.
I can really do without the TV news showing the injections every frixing evening.
No chance here in South Africa of accumulating wine bottles etc. Our lockdown was very strict. Level three allowed the liquor stores to open Mondays to Thursdays. Before that they were completely closed. Same with cigarette sales.
I’ve been retired for 8 years, although I pick up a free-lance assignment once-in-a-while, – this is accomplished at home on the computer – so the covid-19 lockdown didn’t have too much impact. I don’t go out much, anyway. I’m perfectly content to putter around our home in the city or cottage out in the country.
I suppose that if I was 26 instead of 76 the restrictions would bother me a helluva lot more.
I just shaved off about 2 months of growth yesterday…I am simultaneously disappointed and relieved that I am seemingly incapable of growing a John Lennon hippie beard…
My life changed for around two-three weeks until our corner butcher re-opened. Now it’s almost the same, except I haven’t seen my cousins, aunts or uncles or grandma for a while.
Enough of the Covid downer stuff. We have seen and shared enough misery over a year now. Do your part. Cut us some slack with some non Covid humor.PLEASE…….

I retired in 2004, the lockdown really hasn’t changed my life much. Moved last year and re-planting our orchard will keep me busy through the Spring.

And barring (pardon the term) a resurgence of the Covid, quarantine seems to be about to wane, at least in my region….
