Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Today is Blursday and will remain so until I have to go back to work in person, or the new season of Star Trek: Discovery airs. Then I will know when Thursday is.
I’m 100% with Lupin on this one! (Also thank you, Georgia and BCN, for reminding me that Easter is this week. The Woman and I share a single brain cell and it’s having a rough time lol)
To be fair, since about March-ish 2020, everyday has been Blursday the thirty-teenth of Mayprilary. (I still quote that meme whenever the topic comes up. XD)
Beatrixia: Thanks for taking us to Trevor-Hotep’s Cosmos Nursery, Avenger. We really need to get those flowers for the Feast of Renewal.
Avenger: My pleasure. What other plans are underway?
Puckmosis: Well, Elvis-Anum and Sophititi are decorating eggs, and Maat-Tilda is weaving a tapestry. Thomios is planning the dinner, which he says will be a surprise.
Diana: Can I go to see Uncle Trevor, Mommy?
Emma: Maybe when you’re a bit older, dear. Anyway, we need to go to Burt-Ra’s garden to pick carrots.
Avenger: I’ll see if Uncle Trevor has any cacao treats.
Puckmosis: We’ll be back soon! Has anyone seen the Royal Procurers lately?
Also, I’m with Lupin on the chocolate. There was a hotel here in Boston that did a chocolate buffet every winter. I went for my birthday one year and it was pretty amazing — bread pudding made with chocolate croissants, made-to-order chocolate crepes, a chocolate fountain with fruit, and of course all the cakes, pastries, and truffles you could imagine. I was particularly a fan of the chocolate soup (like hot chocolate, but more so).
I agree with Lupin. Why have a meal that’s not just chocolate? With milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, chocolate with nuts, chocolate with fruits, chocolate with chili peppers, chocolate with herbs … you can plan a wonderful dinner menu.
My daughter is fixing a ham for Easter. I will be supplying a cherry cheesecake for dessert, and I may pick up a carrot cake or carrot muffins for my picky great-granddaughter. I will also be making Easter eggs for the family.
Ah! Just what I always wanted. My very own little bunny rabbit. I’ll call him George. And I’ll hug him and pet him and pat him and squeeze him and… Oh waitsaminute. You ain’t no bunny rabbit, is you, George?
Ha ha… the Palliser Hotel in Calgary used to do a Death By Chocolate buffet every Thursday night in one of their restaurants. It is one of my great regrets that I never made it downtown to try it.
If you’re a church goer, Easter is easy because it has lots of hints. Lent is your first clue, and Palm Sunday is your final one. Plus, grocery ads for Easter goodies since the day after Valentines.

Because, Lupin, chocolate is very bad for cats.
(Not, of course, that the cats are ever fed at the table. No, that never happens.)

The meal’s not that hard. Ham or lamb. Puck votes for ham.

If The Woman’s plans for Easter are as advanced as ours, Easter is doomed.

Love Lupin’s slightly askew bunny ears.

I’m going to make lamb tikka masala with rice for Easter dinner using a Saffron Road simmer sauce. Quick, easy and delicious.

Easter is somewhat confusing. It’s drop on the calendar is based on lunar cycles.
Easter’s exact date varies so much because it actually depends on the moon.
The holiday is set to coincide with the first Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon, the first full moon after the vernal equinox. …
Because the Jewish calendar is tied to solar and lunar cycles, the dates of Passover and Easter fluctuate each year
So don’t beat yourself up if you aren’t sure when it is every year.
I do love a white cat in bunny ears. Looking for a pair for our friend Puck

Why? Because if it’s all chocolate, there’s nothing kitties can eat safely.

Back off, Lupin! No chocolate for you! You can’t properly appreciate it anyway.

News Lupin, it’s not early Easter. Nor is it late Easter. Early Easter means Easter occurs in March.
And I’ll have to check bu I’m pretty sure we need to get some mint jelly for Sunday.
