Grampa is having a “good time” at Gramma’s expense. As long as Opal responds, Earl will keep going. If Opal stopped feeding into it, Earl would have nothing to keep him going.
Round the Panda House it’s ’’Dinner’s on the table!‘’ If I’m snoozin’ my super panda reflexes wake me right up. And I feel like a kid again, when I hear ‘’Wash up before you come to the table.’’
We don’t have arguments. When ever a controversy is brewing, I admit I’m wrong. So simple.
Americans are bad but the Brits are even worse when it comes to murdering a foreign language. It is downright painful listening to an Englishman speaking French or Spanish.
The worst part is that while Americans are very self-conscious about their pronunciation ( or lack thereof ), their cousins across the pond arrogantly think that their command of a foreign language is superlative and better than even the native speakers.
In both cases, the majority of Brits and Americans just can’t understand why the rest of the world doesn’t just speak English!
As an American who speaks both, it is rather humorous to hear French in places like France, Louisiana and West Africa compared to my own Québécois dialect. Sometimes you do hear oui as OhUE.
