Serious business alright. And I like sweet tarts too, although I didn’t think they’re popular.

My favorite costume growing up was a mad scientist.

It sounds like that costume was a safety hazard—no wonder Shannon doesn’t want to wear it! Who made it?

Acting like the older big kids,who skip the costume and show up later to clean up, clean out.

PSA: If you’re going to make a witch, ninja, or any other all-black costume for a trick-or-treater, decorate it with something reflective. There’s a lot of options out there. Make sure drivers can see your darlings.

No costume, no candy.

At least Shannon’s bright enough to not wear a costume that could make her trip and fall, Bwad. By the way, these two have adopted Shannon, haven’t they?

LOL, leave it to Shannon to go ‘trick or treating’ with a 33 gallon Hefty trash bag. She probably has another one in her pocket for when that one gets full.

I agree with Shannon about costumes – more trouble than they’re worth.

I respect a girl power-gaming trick-or-treating X’D I’ll just do the adult version, which is buying candy tomorrow at 50%+ off.

But speaking of Sweet-Tarts, anyone else miss Shock-Tarts? My teeth would disintegrate now, but I loved those as a kid.

Shannon’s view of Trick-or-Treating is more common than some may like to acknowledge. Having to deal with little urchins who try to grab more offerings than their fair share and other “kids” who appear not too far from being able to buy cigarettes legally (and who usually don’t bother to dress up as anything) has soured me on the whole thing. It’s why my lights will be out this year.

What’s funny is that Brad would have been a competitive trick-or-treater well into his teens.

Millennial spawn. Now that is scary!

Give the kid some Benadryl, that’ll slow her way down!!!

Every Halloween, I have two bowls for trick-or-treaters: A bowl of candy and a bowl of Halls cough drops.

The candy go to: Children (under 13) who are polite and made the effort to dress up or Adults who bring their costumed infants/toddlers.

The Halls go to: High Schoolers; Adults; Rude Kids; or anyone in blackface or appropriating racial/ethnic garments.

Put on your costume, young lady. If you want to compete in this sport you have to follow its rules. And Brad. It has always been a competitive sport!

Thankfully, it’s less than two months until Christmas…..

Just put on a nice dress and if people ask, say “my name is Albert.”

At my house you don’t get candy if you’re not wearing a costume.

I knew there would be at least 10 hateful comments about Shannon today. She could be depicted sitting in a chair reading a book and it would happen. She could be depicted in a children’s cancer ward dying and it would happen.

They sure are acting like a family there.Mom, Dad and daughter.I would say it is time to adopt Shannon and it is time for the couple to bring a new baby in the cartoon world.
