What insanity? I’m sure I ate a ham/pineapple pizza at a Shakey’s in Sioux City growing up in the 70’s…

Pineapple on pizza!! Yumm!! My favorite.

My wife and I had pepperoni/Italian sausage/pineapple pizza for supper.

I like it as a vegetarian option.

Shrimp, just shrimp with chili sauce. That’s a pizza……

The Sicilian part of the family=> no sauce, thick crust, olive oil, garlic, onions, anchovies and ricotta. I never question it………

I love pineapple on pizza as does my wife, I loathe anchovies on pizza!!

When we get a pizza, we always add extra pineapple on it!!

Dr Mel is SOOO wrong. Anything that you’d eat off of a pizza is good on a pizza!

Pineapple on pizza – fine. Salt in caramel or chocolate – abominations to gastronomy

Pizza itself is overrated.

Living in Sri Lanka, ordering a delivery from the local Pizza Hut, I once asked yet again whether I was fine with pineapple on my order for Hawaiian. I in return asked why they kept asking (it was a standard script) and I was told that some people don’t like pineapple. I asked do they sell ham pizzas and they said no. I had to say then that a hawaiian pizza has 2 basic toppings, pineapple and ham, if someone is ordering a Hawaiian then they obviously want the pineapple, and if you don’t sell ham pizzas then why are you asking at all?

Once, to save the irritation of having to deal with their telephone operators, I tried ordering online….didn’t work, they rang me up after 20 minutes to ask whether I was fine with pineapple!

I asked when I was getting my pizza as they had a ‘delivery in 30 minutes or it’s free’, but was told the clock on that apparently didn’t start until I confirmed the pineapple status!!!!

They were BS crazy.

I gave up at that point and ordered Domino’s instead….

I sometimes add baked beans to a pizza.

I think the problem some have with pineapple is that it does not seem to be a good fit for marinara sauce. I would love to try pineapple/bell pepper/ham or sausage with a teriyaki type sauce.

Anything’s a pizza topping if you’re brave enough.

To me, pizza must have at minimum tomato sauce and cheese. Anything that lacks those two basic ingredients is a flatbread.

Back in the Middle Ages, all food was served on a thin disc or square of baked dough called a “trencher.” So pizza is just one more example of the food-on-bread thing. That said, pineapple on a pizza is just wrong, wrong, wrong in so many ways. Please don’t try to tell me otherwise. I’m not listening. LALALALALALA. . . .

Well you know, with so many news services, so called scientist, social media expert’s and whatever, and whoever that are just making stuff up and calling it fact. We really need to redefine the words “disinformation” and “misinformation”.

Garlic Parmesan sauce goes with everything. Fight me!!!!!

That’s what I like about Pizza Ranch. It’s pizza buffet, with choices for every taste. And if you don’t like pizza, they have chicken. They also have pizza with chicken.

But…pineapple IS a topping for pizza. Thank you Canadians.

We ordered a pizza with olives, mushrooms, jalapenos and maybe pineapple, don’t remember — definitely all non-animal based. The child took our order and paused. “Excuse me for asking. I don’t mean to offend, but are you vegetarians?”

I love Hawaiian pizza, but I feel this way about chicken on pizza. Chicken is NOT a pizza topping. Sheesh.

Sounds like a winner to me. Just for you info, they have had Canadian Bacon for years along with Pineapple topping. Some really good eating!

Here in upstate/western NY, we have pizza topped with buffalo chicken and crumbly blue cheese. You wanna talk about a good pizza…
