Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Sometimes I wish that I had some signs in the car to communicate with other drivers, like: âYou have a flat tire.â, âYour turn signal is still on.â, One of your headlights is out.", âYouâre going the WRONG WAY on this One-Way Street.â, âYour baby is on top of your car.â
I remember old-school social media; hand written letters, rotary telephones, newspaper want-ads (especially the Personal ads â I really miss those), and conversations uninterrupted by electronic gadgets in someoneâs pocket or purse.
Itâs like sending a postcard. Everybody can read it. There is no privacy here in the window or on any electronic social media. People forget that. Also, it is forever. You can get into trouble over something or an opinion you expressed in your foolish immature youth. Thereâs no statute of limitations.
I was born late in life, my dad was born â07 & a lot of HIS friends felt the same way about the telephone. Used to actually go see someone if you wanted a conversation.
Thereâs good and bad. Weâll adjust. Our species ability to adapt is running weâre the planet â to dubious effect.
Iâm currently looking out my windows at snow piled half way up the doors. Snow storm that dumped 2 feet of snow on top of the nearly 3 we already had. And itâs still coming down hard. Maybe I can borrow some of his signs.

We used to just walk out and talk to the neighbors. Of course the few apartments in town were all single story.

Kinda makes you wonder what the business plan is for companies that sell telescopes.
Whatâs the real mission of the James Webb Space Telescope? :-)

Considering pro and con, itâd be a much better world without smart phones.

Old school is right. Today, if you are looking in Murielâs window with a telescope, you are headed to the crossbar hotel.
