Looks like the Swami WAS hit over the head.

Oh, come now…modern politics is much more civilized…now only ethnic and gender minorities get clobbered

Nothing has changed … today’s politicians are clubbing one another, then blaming the others when they contract COVID.

I’m told that in the British House of Commons, the two opposing parties are seated at just over two sword-lengths from each other. Apparently discussion time in the house could get rather pointed.

So there goes the idea of “Gentlemanly art of Politics”.

Ah, well. The “swami” is back. We are not heard.

I cling to the old ways: don’t discuss sex, religion, or politics in polite company. Imagine how much worse – maybe – it would be if religion were argued about the way politics is now.

And now, for a list of everything that has been resolved through all the arguing and name calling:

I wonder how politicians survived “in the wild” back in those days before they were owned and trained to “turn tricks” (in both senses of the phrase) by major corporations and other special interest groups.

A Peaceful Protest is both the future of politics and clubbing each other over the head. And arson, looting, assaults, murder, attacking police officers and vehicles, a rape or two… just the usual fox-de-rol of the Left. Let’s Go Brandon.

It’s more civilized than what I have seen lately. At least you can see the person you’re arguing with and realize it’s a 10-year-old with an iPad.

Well, it looks like we are off to the political wars early on. Had hoped it would at least wait until fall.

In many cases, clubbing would be much more polite.

Well, say what you will about the blood-sport of politics, it sure beats the hell out of the alternative of civil war. Although, if some of the Repub states makes use of their nuclear response to overturn elections, then fighting the real civil war, not just the political one, might become a reality. God help us.

I wish BC and the rest of the comics would leave political commentary to the editorial cartoons. I want to escape reality when I read the comics – otherwise I’d be reading the news on other websites.

A fascist government was elected, it took over the White House on January 20th 2021. A day that will live in history of when The USA was taken over by communists.
