It looks like 22ph was the first to figure out the chair angle yesterday. Someone tipped off the police. Itās good to see that Sam puts the evidence into a plastic evidence bag and doesnāt just stuff it into his pocket. Scott, the clerk, is in a lot of trouble now!
Good morningā¢, who ya gonna call ? Ā Dope Busters !
Iām glad someone could read the sales guyās name as āScottā. I wouldnāt have given it much scrutiny and would be enlarging the image to gargantuan to easily see it, thoā I can make it out since attention being called to it.
I like that Lizzy is in the picture and the snarly look on Samās puss when he tells the schmo, āPlease doā.
Wow! That was fast. They went from finding nothing on Coffy to knowing just where to look. Maybe they were keeping an eye on his delivery truck and got suspicious that a coffee truck was delivering furniture. Thatās what I meant yesterday when I said ādrugs, chairs, and coffee?ā Why would a coffee truck be delivering chairs? Matt may not have known about Coffyās operation, but it sure looks like Tracy did.
You can arrest someone at the scene of a crime or criminal activity and always release them later if theyāre found not to be involved. And Iām betting Sam or Lizz had a warrant.
I am thinking Curtis will be more definitive in linking this particular event to his story at largeā¦but itās not much of a mental leap to do so from here. His story is a good one with rolling wheels, that has yet to veer off of the road. Heāll fill in the few plot holes along the way.
Geez, imagine thatā¦.not only does the MCU piece together, WITHOUT (apparently) the benefit of evidenceā¦exactly WHAT Coffyheadās business is, but they ALSO manage to figure out exactly which chairs are being sold, where theyre being sold, and how many of them
Soā¦ Apparently they were looking for a new driver to make āfurnitureā deliveries at exactly the time Matt could have told the police about Javafaceās drug business? Quite a coincidence. Coincidence, a deus ex machina used way too often.
Luckily, Sam didnāt cut into the chairs that have hidden south of the border folks sewn into them. That Coffy uses his āchair trickā for all sorts of smuggling.
So, mowing the lawn is clearly very, very bad for me. Why else would I wonder when we get a twitchy, evil lawyer(who clearly buys a LOT of chairs) named Atticus Flake in here?
Most of the āhowād they do thatā-type questions asked above would be reasonably answered if the New Driver for Coffy Imports were in fact an undercover cop/informant. He would know which chairs, at which retailer, and what they contained, if heād done a little snoopingā¦.

Dot has been to hell and back. Thought that the end was nigh
Held under a threat of death, while āTonsilsā made the buy.
Now she is free. Can clearly see that all the worldās a stage
Time now to go. On with the show! Farewell to fear and rage.
Sam and Lizz are on the case with skills and smarts to spare
Detectives quick to smell a rat in Cawlieās sketchy lair.
You have the right. Keep mouth shut tight. As silent as the grave
Or sing a song. You canāt go wrong. Your own skin you shall save.

This is a bit of a leap.
One: Can Sam do what he did ā damaging property ā without a search warrant?
Two: Did Scott know the actual contents of the chair? As in, why is he being arrested?
Stating the fact that the chairs were previously purchased is not a suspicious act.
Kind of like what sugordon said, above.

The price of the chairs was a give away to Sam which ones had the stuff in them. Can they trace this to Coffyhead now?
