A Tiffany in Maui adventure sounds like a lot of fun! Hope that happens.

Doesn’t Dez have a whole garden that would need looking after?? And if she is actually building a school in Haiti… how is she too poor to bid on the Privacy Hut?

I kinda feel that G+K have made Dez the new Delta. Both are very altruistic… not to mention both of their names start with De. LOL

Meanwhile, a huge truck pulls up at the mansion with about 200 overly large potted plants – even a few 12 to 15 foot tall palm trees. Then Tiff ends up having to hire someone to water all of them during the 10 days she will be in Hawaii…

Kinda funny. And I think the stage set for the next arc is the mansion. Likely visitors include Les, Bets & Gunther. I recall Tara had no place to live. It would be interesting if Tara gets worked into this situation.

Tiffany plant sit Dez’s plants for the summer looks great! Dez really has great faith in Tiffany if she entrusts her to his precious plants. Let’s hope nothing bad happens to those poor thing. Maybe Tiffany will start to love taking care of plants and she will join Dez in having a garden, maybe right next to her vegetable garden! If things go well, Tiffany and Dez could share a room next year, leaving the annoying Stef to Bets.

If all the plants are Cactuses that is an easy job. One spoonful of water once a month.

How many plants can she have in that shared dorm room? :-o Not surprised she helping build a hospital. My doctor does the same thing and travels there each year to perform surgeries. Wonder if this will be a week of goodbyes and seeing where each roomie is spending the summer. Will we have drama with Kip and Steff?

Do-good American college students have to go to Haiti to build things because they don’t think the people there are smart enough to do anything themselves.

Funny comic strip. The last frame made me laugh. In real life, you would know how many plants you would be taking care of before you agreed but this is a comic strip, not real life.

I’ll never understand the Farrel’s finances. Her dad apologizes for her having to share a dorm room, but yet vacations in Maui. They had a big vacation planned last year but he had to cancel.

Well this portends Summer, which leads to what? Leaving my thoughts there for the moment, although I have to say one comment I read about Dez’s being able to “afford” starting a school in Haiti, volunteer project, funded through charity, even through grants. The fact she is altruistically and philosophically committed to helping otherd is the point, not her wealth or lack thereof.

Haiti? What could possibly go wrong there? Wasn’t that the country where several years ago a group of missionaries were kidnapped? Latest from the US State Department: “Do not travel to Haiti due to kidnapping, crime, and civil unrest.”

Funny. Most people who live in a “mansion” don’t actually call it a mansion. It’s just home.

Wait until she brings in the pot plants, unless opium grows better in Haiti

I’m having trouble imagining there will be a trip to Maui. The dad will probably flake out. Tiffany getting nothing out of her home life, or dorm life, is way too old.

Dez can single handedly build a school? Take that, Rosa! (I am joking)

Where will Dez find in Haiti to do her naked yoga? And will anyone join in?

Sure, what can go wrong?

I can’t help but think that Tiffany’s storyarcs would all be 80% shorter if she ever stood up for herself when she’s constantly being crapped on, instead of just making a little pissy face while accepting it.

Still, it’s a lot better than the Bernice arcs because at least Tiffany is mostly sympathetic, and her difficulties are caused by outside sources rather than her own numerous complexes. Plus Tiffany is a different person than she was a decade ago, so there’s hope for future improvement.

Why did we have all that Love Shack scheduling crap? The end of semester was clearly near. I’ll say it again, the Evanses have a problem pacing their storylines. Tiff does not need the burden of caring for plants. And Dez was very sneaky about it – she just trapped Tiff. But a summer without Stef and Kip story arcs is a welcome thing.
