The Sounds of Plenty has a new member in Little Attitude! We haven’t “seen” him for a while and he seems to be growing older. I think this might be the clearest image of him we’ve yet had. He may have inherited his hair from his daddy, B.O.

See !  That wasn’t so hard and Mem’ry has an almost smile as they depart. Nuthin to suspect about owl man here. Now yall go on in and bask in the glory of a fambly “that sings together stays together”. We don’t see the engineer guy as he is still fainted, prone, from having seen l’il Attitude’s face head on.

Mr. Memory: “Long distance memory control… I wonder if they host an open mic night.”

Mr. Memory must be hoping that he remembers not to not pick up that chatterbox again.

Closest we’ve come to seeing Li’l Attitude. He must be turning over a new leaf, if he’s go the patience to be part of a band. Maybe music keeps him focused.

At least he didn’t harm B. O. along the way.

Ooo, look! It’s little Attitude! It looks like he has a musical talent for hitting things.

Okay, I was wrong. Sort of. I said BO getting picked up was for the writer to give us discovery. I assumed it was Mr. Memory revealing something about himself. It was more of a periodic update on the Plenty family. I’m still calling it discovery.

B. O. seems to be forgetting that he left his pick-up on the side of the road with a flat tire.

Because I have to record audio occasionally, I immediately thought, “What a primitive setup that radio station has.” One mic for four instruments and four singers? You might think it’s a tiny radio station that somehow can’t afford another mic, but that’s an actual studio with acoustic material on the walls, so ….

Six-string guitar seems appropriate for their presumed genre, though.

B.O’s granddaughter would be Sparkle’s daughter, yes? Wouldn’t she live with Junior, Sparkle and Honeymoon? How come we never see her in those scenes?

…..I dropped back into this strip only a few years ago, but I know that Sparkle’s not married to that dingbat Vera Alldid anymore and is married to Junior……….YAY!!…..

Wait, B.O. and Gertie have a son in a high chair? I always thought the adjective “elderly” was appropriate for these two.

The radio station call letters are different on the sign and the microphone

Yesterday I finished my physical therapy phase. I am pretty much pain free (still a small balance issue but improving with exercise—recovering from a broken leg is like learning to walk again), and I have been released by my doctors to go back to all of my normal activities as I feel I can handle. I’m still a little tender and will probably use a cane for a couple of weeks until I get a bit more steady on my feet, especially on uneven ground. The physical therapists said the balance issue was normal and would eventually go away as I got more steady on my feet. When I fell, I broke 2 teeth and cracked a crown. It requires I get 3 crowns so I go for measurements on Tuesday and once they are installed, I think that now I am finally getting finished with this entire infirmary.

The whole broken leg episode has taken six months and I am certainly glad it is over. Thank you to everyone here who gave me support.

Who is the red-haired girl playing the fiddle and the little fellow beating on the tambourine?

The station call signs are transposed: Panel 1, WDQP; Panel 2, WQDP.

Hold the phone! Stop right there! Sign says WDQP. Microphone says WQDP. How is Mr. Memory supposed to get this station on his car radio? Also B.O. left out whether the station is AM or FM. Then on second thought…it could be an I-Heart channel.

OFF TOPIC: I need minor surgery done on a place n my back and the doctor has me waiting a couple of extremely pain-filled weeks. Gets pretty bad when you can’t sit back in a chair or put on a shirt that’ll rub against it.

Well, at least it gives me more free time to work on the current book.

And so Mr. Memory’s lift of B.O. Plenty ends at radio station WDQP and its transmitter tower. So far, so good, and no animosity detectable between Memory and Plenty on either side.

So, what’s gonna be a Big Deal on Sunday?

“Live” on the radio? What is this, the 1930s?
