For a term paper in the late 80s I took the contrary position on global warming because I didn’t know what to think. Even back then the data was abundantly clear that it was happening. If the energy sector hadn’t paid for contrary studies and pushed doubt out to the public, there would have been much less debate on whether it was occurring. You can call that campaign Fuel-anon.

The Earth has done a good job for millennia pumping carbon below the surface. Most efficiently, it just adds surface above the carbon. We just pull it back out again. Ain’t we smart! And Global Warming is much more accurate and descriptive. Show me any large areas that are now cooler than 100 years ago. And when the large ocean rivers change (e.g. Gulf Stream), rapid changes will result. I’ve grown old, but our descendants may not get that same opportunity.

Humans have always been lousy at long-range planning. If you can’t make a profit off something in the next 90 days it’s obviously worthless. (Voters want a candidate who promises to make the world perfect two days after being elected rather than a candidate who says it will take years and cooperation to improve things… So, clearly, no profit in long range planning.)

The ice will actually do that. It will cool the entire world, including the seas. This will reduce water vapor production, and thus the deposit of condensed fresh water inland. The lack of inland water resources will cause atmospheric warming and sea rise. The lack of atmospheric water vapor will result in elevated CO2 and CH4 levels, and reduced upper atmosphere O3 levels. The ice will last longest at the highest altitudes and latitudes, obviously. Ocean currents created by solar warming and contact of waters with polar ice will maintain the oceans at a consistent low temperature for thousands of years, inducing a steady atmospheric warming as glaciers recede and deserts form.

According to testimony provided by the Texas Energy Commission who has a voice in the public school system. Children should NOT be taught climate change in school because it would frighten them and they are too stupid to understand it anyway.

Texas is the nation’s largest producer of school textbooks and therefore has the cheapest prices. So if a school district is strapped for funds – but like how likely is THAT? – they may buy them.

So there is a good chance your child will be taught Texas Science, Texas Geography (drilling and pipelines are good for the ecology), Texas math, Texas Biology (especially female reproductive rights) and Texas’ version of American history.

And yet, the ice age ended without one factory being built. How dey do dat?

Wow. The ICe age ends 18,000 years ago – NATURALLY – and Wiley is still moronic enough to push the Man-made global warming hoax.

The fascists pushing the climate change alarmism seek depopulation, and end to carbon based energy, and end to food supplies and total control of every aspect of life of individuals throughout the world. The tools of the climate alarmism agenda (as above) are being to foist their fascist control structure.

Witness the Sri Lankans. Starving because the stopped chemical fertilizers to get a near perfect ESG score. Witness the Netherlands farmers protesting the same nonsense that will destroy food in Europe.

Actually, I’m thinking the discovery of electricity and how to control it is the problem. Many of the big earth changing and dangerous projects man has undergone in the last 100 years or so has been done to create electricity.

If only we had a global economy that didn’t decimate trees and instead made life a bit better for all instead of the <1%. And we planted a lot more trees too. Gotta do both.

Indeed the climate has been warming for the last 20,000 years. So I wonder why it started to warm and more importantly why did the last Ice Age start.

We’ve added some 5 gigatons of fossil CO2 to the air. The oceans absorbed a lot of it turning them acidic and polluted. Those same oceans are heating up and absorbing less CO2 as they do. Eventually the oceans will be too warm to hold that CO2 and therefor freeing it once again into our air.

How about finding a use for all the extra CO2

OK… I know there’s too much science in both of these for the fools but maybe the pretty pictures will get thru… or maybe not, but it’s worth it to the try I suppose. 8^/

And the problem is time… it’s the change in the rate of change that has occurred fairly recently that is scaring the folks that are capable of thinking rationally. It’s painfully obvious for anyone to see, you just have to be willing to see.
