Just lost a cat to cancer. She was deaf and couldn’t hear me calling her so I got nervous when she didn’t come to eat (usually sleeping somewhere very peacefully).
Cats protect us from the Old Ones. Remember when they are staring into an empty air? Old Ones trying to penetrate our space from theirs to sow murder and madness in humans. Fortunately, the cat scratch fever is bad for them makes it impossible for them to penetrate our dimension for up to a terrestrial year. Cats defending us for 80,000 years and counting.
This happened today – Hubby was looking for one of the new kittens and couldn’t find him anywhere. I told him it’s impossible to find a tiny ball of fluff in the clutter we call our home. Of course, I found him in 3 minutes flat – sleeping quietly. Still too young to really know they own names yet.
This morning at O’dark thirty I had to get up and almost stepped on the very black Norwegian Forest Cat who just happened to be sleeping at the top of the stairs as I was on my way to the fridge. She demanded I feed her because I could not see her with her cloaking device activated. And then the other cats all sowed up. And don’t get me started on the doggos. TGIF.

@#$%! I’ve seen it. Completely cat-free room. Then a little ripple and flicker in the air, and suddenly there’s a cat. Without a grin.

So how old is Ludwig, anyway? Maybe this answers that question – maybe he passed away a while ago, and it’s his spirit that lives on with them.

Hmm.. maybe Ludwig died awhile ago and is hanging around to give Janis and Arlo comfort in their declining years.
