In all the time I was on Facebook I never chatted with any high school classmates.

Every now and then, Rat gets it right.

So very nutters.There were 84 in my graduating class, if felt more like an extended family. And most stayed in touch with each other.One found me on FB, and it got around to atl least 50% of them.FB decided it wanted my photo ID and I declined to give it to them. I now use another account, not known by nutters (the majority also members of a Cult). I use FB to inflict puns on like-minded weirdos (better nutters), and find the Secret Life of Coupons.It’s much more pleasant.

Take your tree photo to a copy center and make a million paper copies and post it around town. That’ll show everyone that you love trees.

Mr. Rat: It’s nice to be important, but more important to be nice!

Try NextDoor. People sometimes post nice nature photos there.

A fair number of years ago, I was prodded and scolded into opening a FaceBook account. In less than half an hour, I had 1,587 people trying to “like” me, of which I recognized about three or four names. I immediately closed the account and never went back.

Social media, except GC (at times) is ruining the minds of youngsters…the reason for their laziness and ill will.

Addiction to violent video games, programs are ruining America..dumbing down AMERICA! And yet more and more of these twit programs keep on coming….is this the mental capacity of the future for this country?

So glad I’m not on any of those. A high school friend texted me recently and, among other things, said I was missing out on so much by not being on FB. That comment reminded me of the Toyota commercial where a teen on Facebook cluelessly states, “This is living” while her parents are out mountain biking and not giving a fk about Facebook.

Facebook is to show what you’re having for dinner.

This is the absolute closest I come to social media. It’s just too toxic on most platforms for me to want to do it.

Well, Pig, I know at least one person who firmly believes that trees are more important than people. I don’t think she has much respect for pigs, though…

I use Facebook as an informal gallery for my photogrphs, so I can share them with my friends and get useful feedback.

I just send photos to family and friends by text. They’re the only ones I care to do that for.

Post it? Why? Didn’t you take it to enjoy it yourself, Pig?
