But they were hardly in the manse before school started. How did they find time to have one drama after another? And why can’t Greg ever writing the exciting bit instead of the dull stupid bits

And just like that Ox and Leslie have disappeared. Didn’t even get a “good-bye” or a “thank you.”

Now we’re getting somewhere!

P.S. We’re also learning who won the bet!

They say Buddha figures are for good luck, so Dez will have to move it closer to Tiffany, or even get more.

Stef those are fighting words.

I’m reminded of the Seinfeld “Catfight” episode. It is revealed that men find female fights compelling only because we think that there’s a chance that they’ll end up kissing.

Uh-oh. Did Stefi find broken stuff in her box? Someone called it – it must be hers whose box was dropped during the move.

Maybe Stef is referring to the box that Les and Ix stowed in a closet when Les was trying to " make his move" on Stef…

Back to the Farrell Mansion?

Tiffany may be a lot of things, but a liar and a thief are not among them. Can’t wait til monday to find out what tiffany is accused of stealing and lying about.

Stef is being particularly unbearable in this story line, primarily towards Tiffany, and now it’s culminating in a fight where I’m sure all of us are positive Stef is going to be in the wrong about. Either Stef is accusing her of outright stealing something she didn’t, or if her stuff was put in storage along with the other clients’ things, Tiffany was offering a cheaper rate than official storage units and moving the things into official storage later on meant that if there was a difference in cost, Tiff likely paid it out of her own pocket (or maybe her dad’s, as an olive branch for their own argument as well as wanting to make sure the other stuff could get out of their home).

Even if it resolves, this might be the final straw for Tiffany tolerating Stef as a roommate. They may have to switch with Dez and Bets. I can see Bets/Tiff and Dez/Stef working out, honestly. If Stef can keep the privacy hut for her and Kip, Dez can use the time Stef is in the hut to have her nudism in their room. Meanwhile Bets’ influencer life can sometimes grate on Tiff, but Bets’ might at least respect the boundary of keeping it out of the room or at least do it while Tiff is away. Or, Tiff was initially interested in trying it out, so maybe making cameos in Bets’ pics and videos might help her regain some fan traction to try again?

There’s so many ways this can go, but I think Tiff and Stef will do well being away from each other for awhile. For crying out loud, the semester hasn’t even started yet.

Dez has no life, apart from being a summer volunteer and plant saint, so of course she’s an easy roommate. Tiffany might have misplaced a box or something.

I mean, the very second item in the “Explore Luann” section above is Dorm Drama With Dez.

Or did some “light-fingered” individual TAKE Stef’s stuff?

The Inevitable Conflict! What now? Is one of Stef’s precious boxes been lost or broken? Did Stef notice the company labels that kept her boxes after Tiffany had to take them out of the house and she thinks she was scammed? Is it just that impossible for Dez or Bets to share the room with Stef so that they can prevent Tiffany from doing it ruining her health?

Dang – There could have been an interesting arc with Bets (and maybe Gunther) staying at Tiffany’s. Instead, all summer we get Bernice and Luann playing miniature ping pong.

I thought somewhere they decided that Betts had to room with Squat blossom.

Where was the drama, this past summer??

Tiff and Bets had no contact in the mansion!!

The boots are missing and Stef forgot seeing them earlier.

I think Bets brings a lot of drama to the picture. I don’t think a nudist would be an easy roomie for me.

I just figured out what is missing. Steffi’s brain.

Well at least the ard has shifted from any silliness about so-called gay signalling between the guys, but remember Les was interested in trying to impress Stephanie. He is possibly a source of some pilfering here, causing Steph to blame her. Tiffany is innocent of any crime, I’m sure, so how this turns out should be interesting.

I had a roommate who was a thief and a liar. I caught her sneaking into my room at 4:20 am and stealing my medical cannabis, after 48 years of friendship. When I confronted her, she went to the police and falsely accused me of molesting a friend of my late best friend’s boys when he was 13 in 1997. When they called him (we are still friends to this day), he told them in no uncertain terms that nothing ever happened. He hopes that she dies! I told her that there are 5 things that no woman should be (a sneak, a thief, a liar, a snitch and the c-word). She is all 5!!

Les took the “special” thong undies with the heart patch on the front that Steffi wears to meet Kip. He’s tacking them up on his wall as we speak.

Can hardly wait for the Monday morning fisticuffs!

What is Steph missing, and, why should she think Tiff took whatever it is?

not sure how Tiff created “..one drama and after another..” according to Bets. As I recall the conditions for living at the manse were simple.. ‘respect my privacy’. Whatever dramas there were i.e. issues with Tiff’s storage business were essentially started by Bets i.e. bragging about how much $ she makes on SM, posting pictures and videos of the manse on SM trying, albeit, to get Tiff engaged in that approach but that was a breach of ‘respecting privacy’ and it led to Tom getting upset and the demise of a small storage business that was doing just fine initially until it blew up out of proportion and then crashed. Is this the drama that Bets is referring to?

Yep, anticipated this blowup. May take more than chants and incense from Dez to calm these two. Guess Bets won’t be anxious to summer at the mansion again. Thought she’d be spending more time with Gunther anyway? :-o

Bets is simply answering a question and making conversation. In a roundabout way she is complimenting Dez and saying I’ve missed you, Roomie! Good to be back and living with someone who is laid back and calm. Perhaps she’s referring to the “drama” of how she tried to help Tiffany establish an online persona and the drama of the bet they made and how they wound up having to move all the stored items to a real warehouse, etc. etc. But I don’t see it as her complaining or being ungrateful. She’s just talking about it with Dez.

Tiffany: “I’m nobody’s cook, wife, thief, or lover. And that’s the truth!”

Why doesn’t Tiffany just live at home? She did so much better in a single room. She could always get Bernice to come live with her. I’m sure Luann wouldn’t mind.

We know that Les misdirecting Ox with the box marked “boots” is the cause of all this misunderstanding, so let’s abandon the “ship of fools dorm” concept, return Luann to the strip’s main character, and start over.

[SIDE NOTE] It’s nice and refreshing to see discussions among fans of a strip who are able to suspend disbelief and talk about characters motivations and actions – without having it pointed out to them that it is a comic strip. Evans puts enough thought into this thing to make these discussions worthwhile. We can see the players as real people with well-developed personality traits, and that makes Luann one of the best strips running today.

Steph so badly needs to have Blutto Blutarsky sitting across from her asking “See if you can guess what I am now.”

I am hoping for the old-fashioned style girl fight. Where they rip each others’ clothes.Way more fun than effective, skilled fighting.
