Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Most parks around here have bag dispensers. Itâs cheaper than hiring staff to clean up. A partly-full bag is still usable, too, especially for that little pooch.
Why do we say âborrowâ in those situations? Obviously, weâre not giving it back! And, yes, I have little containers of bag rolls on each leash, and some in random pockets of jackets.
I was walking my Jack Russel Terrier and approach someone with a Lab taking a big dump, looked like the size of a big turkey neck, and picking it up with a bag. I joking said, boy am i lucky, she, the JRT poops small tootsie rolls.
Iâm always mystified by the dog walkers who pick up and bag the poop then leave the bags by the side of the trail or wherever, sometimes near a signpost or something. Do they think there is a poop fairy who comes along to collect the bags? Picking up is the annoying part; throwing it away in a garbage can is easy.
Sure it could be a walker planning to pick it up on the return leg, and maybe forgot. But Iâve seen it too often for that, in various types of walking areas, in several different parts of the country.
My gal is a veterinarian and we save all the little and big bags that we collect from deliveries, the store, bread bags, etc. Always have more than enough without resorting to buying more plastic.
If an alien saw dogs leading people on leashes and picking the dogs excrement, wouldnât they be confused about who was in charge, the dogs or the people?
This is like a joke from a Cheech and Chong movie. A girl asks if they have any blow. Cheech (as Cheechâs cousin âRedâ) asks what she means. She says âyou knowâŠ.â and does a sniff sniff gesture with her hand across her nose to indicate cocaine. âRedâ says âoh yeah, hereâŠ. use my sleeveâ
It took me a moment to get this one â I was trying to figure out why heâd hand the guy a bag that wasnât empty (full disclosure: I donât own a dog). Then I got it and laughed out loud.
And I donât see why they guy is so upset that the bagâs already been used. Earl just gave him a head start!
Iâm not a dog owner (but am a dog lover). Just the other day, I saw a fellow pick up his dogâs droppings using a disposable glove then turned it inside out to contain said waste as a bag. Neat idea.

Be careful what you ask for.

If this had been in a restaurant I think a doggie bagâs contents would have been just fine. But, um, no, not in this case.

Iâm sure yours wonât mind sharing. And what did you mean by âborrowingâ did you intend to hand it back afterwards?

We have a roll of bags strapped to each leash, but use a scoop 95% of the time.

This is the kind of doggie bag you can expect to take home from the restaurant if you donât tip the waitress.

When you consider what he wants to put in the bag, what difference does it make that thereâs already some of the same stuff inside it?
