Yes! Great so far. No 3 feet of snow to clear, no 2 hour commutes. No having to keep putting the mailbox back up. Just got my spring cleanup down a month early. If you want snow move to Canada.
I too appreciate the milder winters, but I am also becoming increasingly concerned about lack of melt water for crops and aquifers, foods disappearing from grocery shelves, shipping container farms becoming a thing and the fact that Soylent Corp. now exists. Is it really too late? Have we passed the Rubicon and just don’t know it or even do we even care?
Yep, it’s been that way here in Central Jersey, too. It’s happened some years. Then comes March – in like a lion who thrives on snow. I figure we’re due maybe 3 feet in March.
Oh, Lio. You don’t need a time machine. Just get in the car and drive north or northwest. They have all the snow you’re missing. (I’ll write you a note excusing your absence from school for a week or so.)

How dreadful for Lio of wanting to go sledding and making monstrous, animated sculptures. (Never heard of such book either.)

If you’re using a time machine to find snow in South Jersey, you’d better get there early enough before it becomes yellow.

We don’t need snow. This is a tropical island… but it can become unbearably cold in the mountains.

I think we will all be nostalgic for the way our Winters, Springs, Summers and Falls used to be. I already am.

Arizona is supposed to get a big snowstorm tonight and tomorrow.

I don’t think frozen water vapor is what you find searching South Jersey for snow.

In NYC, we had ONE snow this years and it was so light it was gone by the end of the morning.

I grew up in S. Jersey (Cherry Hill). I remember sledding down the I-295 overpass hill on Chapel Ave.

My wife (who is from central NJ) doesn’t really miss it. I’m from rural central PA and rather prefer having four seasons, some with snow.
