When it comes to guns, safe is more important than pretty.

Sadly that happens too often for this to really be funny. And too often with deadly consequences.

Clearly violation of Rule #1 in firearm safety: ALWAYS assume a firearm is loaded. And as we see here, that IS the reason why it is Rule #1.

Well that got his adrenaline going. Don’t know what his problem is. She missed. He’s going to need a new favorite chair though.

Did she follow the NRA rule — “Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target“? If so, he has a lot to worry about and he should be thankful for her bad aim.

why would you polish a gun? I am Canadian, we have no need for guns. We solve our problems with a dust-off. We stay alive.

“Cleaning My Rifle and Thinking of You,” a popular song from the 1940s, also recorded by Roy Rogers and others:

    https://youtu.be/TXYw94iSAjU

Presumably we were not intended to notice (or at least mention in public) the two all-but-inescapable double entendres: 1. Cleaning my rifle and thinking of you (i.e., wanting to get you in the sights); 2. Cleaning my rifle and thinking of you (i.e., rhythmically stroking the barrel and moving the brush up and down inside so as to sublimate, but also stimulate, the kind of thoughts that usually come along when you’re in my mind).
