i have quite a collection of stuffed animal friends and i’m the same way.

I feel the same way about my Pokemon and Beanie Babies sets.

Use all resources at your disposal.

I had at least 30 stuffed animals I slept with every night. My mom would have to remove them after I fell asleep.

History has proven that to be true, Wanda. She may have the won battle, but you’re her mom: You WILL win the war!

she’ll get older and want to get rid of them. Patience

Reminds me of ET hiding among the stuffed animals.

My human has 64 “furries” right now. They take up the entire couch and ottoman. The upside as pets, they’re quiet, don’t have to feed or walk them, no baths, Do have to dust them off, though.

I had dust allergies as a child, so my mother took the canopy off of my bed and took all of the stuffed animals out of my bedroom.

Then, she went and put SHAG carpet in the family room. For the next ten years she asked “why are you coughing? Why are you sniffing?”

Gee mom, I don’t know because I AM ONLY TEN, but I think I am allergic the the dust collecting shag carpet.

Let her have them for a while Wanda, she’s only a kid and they sure make her happy!

I could leave a comment about how many people I know that have big, loud mouths but then I’ll be opening up a can of worms. I’ll leave well enough alone.

Why take any of her little loved ones away, mean mommy.

The house has a big corner for her to stand in, even for both her and Hammie if he’s still there. Wanda’s hand is also big enough for Zoe butt and can inflick something to scream/cry about.

When Zoe is an adult she will have dozens of pillows on chairs, couches and beds!!

I’ll be glad when we’re back to 2023 and new strips, although, the old ones are worthy of another look from time to time.

Whoa, having a flashback here. Mom found her "lost’ cat amongst 30+ stuffed animals on my bed.

The only one I specifically recognize is a “Minion”…

“Well, Zoe, then I’ll just have to get rid of them FOR you.”

Mom’s going to suggest giving a few away to kids who have none, or are in the hospital. Don’tcha think? Zoe’ll end up feeling good about it.

And after the garbageman takes them away,Wanda remembers the word “STEIFF” on most of them

Zoe and Rose is Rose’s Mimi can both donate their stuffed toys to the Goodwill.

I will not say anything about you getting rid of a “single stuffed animal” but I will getting rid of half of them.Make a peep and it will be all. You do not run this house.

I have a big garbage bag full of stuff animals that I can never part with, some came from my favorite aunt who passed away, some came from Mom and some came from ex husband when he actually loved and cared about me. I have 2 on my couch that I bought for myself. I think my sister has 2 huge bags in the storage room where her stuff is kept seeing that she is in a nursing home, she refuses to let us get rid of anything thinking she will be able to get out and move in to a place by herself even though that will never happen and after the way things went between me and her she can never live with me again for my own mental and physical well being.

That would have been my reaction too…and my Mom knew it.

Good on you girl! My mom made me get rid of a lot of my childhood things & I’ve regretted it ever since!

Don’t let that threat go unchallenged or you’ll just get more of the same.
