Maybe Hobbes isn’t saying anything because he knows the definition of euphoria is the feeling wellness caused by taking drugs.

Maybe Calvin is seeking the right kind of happiness? Take me for example. I live alone, cook good food, enjoy soda and play all the video games I can!

Face it Calvin, you’re not getting the trillion billion dollars, space shuttle or private continent you asked for a few days ago.

Being a blowhard again, are we??!!

Good luck, Calvin; because the only way that you’re going to find euphoria is in the dictionary!

That is actually good advice: Often saying nothing is better than saying something if the goal is to preserve a relationship. I wish my Starter Wife understood that.

Used to be ‘silence is golden’ was a solid. Inflation and irritation have raised the bar to platinum, as in not enough of it.

In Calvin’s case, I think it’s more ME-phoria.

Anything more than short-term euphoria can be addictive and you become completely non-productive. This was known as far back as the ancient Greeks who warned against the “lotus eaters”. The most rewarding euphoria comes from a challenge bested and a job well done.

Calvin is delusional in more ways than one.

I love Hobbes. Don’t care for Calvin most of the time, but his stuffed tiger makes up for him.
