Santa Claus is the corporate jesus. Boy, oh boy do people worship him. Get your kid in the Corporate Spirit early in life.

I stand by the “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” rule – even if a literal Santa doesn’t exist, he represents a spirit of joy and charity in the season that we pray is never destroyed.

Not only do I love the line, but also the face Hobbes makes as he delivers it!

Again………Calvin you are ‘biting off more than you can chew’ which you have proved ‘time and again’ taking on ‘Hobbes’ in anything—especially snowball fights ! ! !!

By the time I entered my double digits, I began to also become suspicious of Santa’s existence, but since I had a little brother I had to keep up the charade for him.

It’s being good for practice . It gets easier.

So many of us are good for nothing.

God may have to forgive, but I doubt Santa is held to the same rules.
