Interesting that these far-right “Christians” never quote the Beatitudes or anything about caring for the sick, poor, or downtrodden. In fact, they never seem to quote Jesus at all.

Mike Johnson had better face the fact that he is leading the House (where the GOP has a slim majority) and that shutting down the government next month won’t be good for anyone in general (and the GOP in particular). Also, the Democrats have the majority (albeit a very slim one) in the Senate, so any “wish list” items from the Freedom Caucus won’t get very far in that body. Next year, every seat in the House and one third of the Senate will be up for reelection and its on us, the voters, to turn out strongly and keep the Senate and White House Democratic and take back the House. We also need to turn out in this off year election where a lot of the State and Local races are held. That is how we can nurture new blood in the Democratic party and to rebalance statehouses for the 2030 Census (after which new Congressional districts are redrawn). Vote blue no matter who!

The 18th century is too modern for this creepy weirdo. He lives by the Bible which was written about 2000 years ago and translated dozens times by unlearned men inside monasteries.
