Nice to have a friend with his own place, no matter how small.

Oh, look. Gordon has put in hardwood floors and dropdown lights in addition to that bathroom door. He has been busy. He’s even made a lot of silhouette friends.

Get the pizza from Montoni’s? They just reopened. Everyone was there. Even the wag who keeps asking Where’s Crankshaft

Visited people once who lived in an apartment where the bathroom door had been removed because the cat’s litter box was in there. Didn’t stay long, and said “no, thanks” to the offer of a beer. :-)

Will that mean a rent increase, Gordon?

When I was a kid my dad built his own house. We moved in before the house was finished. We had two bathrooms — one had a door and the other one had a light…

Cool, man. What would really be cool, man, is if somebody gave Michael a swirly.

Based on its colo(u)r, I’m guessing they brought potato salad.

Gordon is doing so well for himself. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

This may be the first appearance of Mike’s tradition of going to Gordon’s for New Year’s Eve. It’s nice to have friends.

Ah yes a door for the bathroom, one of the little necessities of life if you want to have friends in your life at your place.

To all named Brian out there, I’ve noticed, working in the government for a few years, that there is a lot of misspellings of your name. Various clerks seem insistent on spelling your name as “Brain”. Just don’t let it get to your head! ;-p

In my statewide organization it used to be customary for the Immediate Past President to host our annual party. One guy held off running for President until he’d bought a house.

Bathroom door is a good first step, but if you live alone for long enough it is sometimes hard to remember to shut the door when you have the occasional guest over.

My bathroom doesn’t have a door on it. Long story short- some idiot put the bathroom door on where it opens outside and blocks the bedroom doorway. When my sister lived with me we had the door taken off because she had the bedroom, I sleep in the livingroom, and it was hard with her disabilities to try and get around the bathroom door out of her bedroom and when she went in the nursing home I just never got it put back on, I am the only one living here and Dad is the only one who comes here and he stays in livingroom/office/my bedroom ( the bedroom is small so I use it for storage) if I am in the bathroom. With the walls the way they are you can’t see into the bathroom unless you are in the kitchen anyways.
