Pig could ask for a fifth of his favorite libation. Back in the ’70s, my Dad worked in management at Raytheon and I remember that he used to drive down to the PX at MacDill where the old man would pick up numerous fifths of various brands of bourbon, scotch and other whiskies which he would get for colleagues at work and some of the guys in the Air Force whom he was a liaison to. In return he would always end up with quite a few fifths of various types of Canadian whiskey (CC, VO, Canadian Mist, Crown Royal, Black Velvet, etc) under the tree by Christmas in various boxes with ribbons, so much that he usually did not have to buy any of his own until it was almost Christmas again.
My Dad : ) Loved his trains, had several scales, N to HO. Built his own town with bridges and tunnels (cats). Christmas was always busy here but the best time was pulling out all the decs and setting up the train under the tree. I so miss those days…. and my Dad..
My friends, we’re all broken beyond fixing. And that’s the whole reason for Christmas. God did send the way of redemption for us to be whole again and restored to relationship with him.
William Tenn wrote a science fiction story about a kid who, through the result of a time travel mix up receives a Bild a Man kit from the future. He clones himself multiple times. Hilarity ensues. I don’t know why Tenn is mostly forgotten.
Saint Nicholas allegedly threw money at three different times through a window so that the the three young girls/women would have enough for a dowery. (How we got the tradition) He Historically has helped many people, including myself with non-toy gifts, advice and consilation during some difficult times. A train might help help but you are wrong in not expressing the “why” of you thinking you can’t be fixed or repaired. You are one of the nicest characters in the comics. If anyone can help, it might just be Santa and if it’s too big for him, I am sure that his Boss might offer some help…..
The one very vivid memory I have about Christmas as a child was the year I got my first train set. That was 65 years ago. That train still runs and when i set it up it fills the room (i spent most of my allowance as a teen expanding the set)

Do kids still ask for trains? Do they know what they are?
I do take Amtrak and love it.

If Pig wants a new ‘him’, Santa could bring him a Pig plush doll.

Pig might be able to use a hefty supply of crazy glue.

Sounds like the plea of a person suffering depression facing a busy Christmas social season. (PS It’s okay not to be joyful and enthused!)

I’m developing a toy line of stuffed animals that hopefully, will become the most wanted toy on a kid’s Christmas list.

Glad to see that Pig didn’t get badly injured yesterday after his fall from the sky, even though he feels like he can’t be fixed.

The cool thing is, the very first Christmas gave us that gift. A gift that can fix us beyond belief.

I once had a plush toy of Pig, so Santa could still potentially honor that request.
