Very disappointing. And not gives lame excuses of “ooh but she panicked”. Nobody is that stoopid. She may has tries to runs away or resisted arrest but this is ridiculous. She behave like petulant child instead of some sophisticated evil mind with network of accomplices who is after some medieval MacGuffins. Where was she planning to goes over those turny stairs wearing high heels anyways? To her escape helicopter over the roof? And not tells me it going to be the old she die by her own sword trope too.
If her overall body strength is good she can stiffen to avoid going over as long as the heel stays planted [hooked] on the railing well enough to allow her to regain her grip. Whether she goes over or not the “knife” is gone so lesser of a danger to the officers when they close in.
“Book her, Dano”. She falls, but is saved by her collection of 12th to 16th century pillows. Don’t know why people are bothered by the possibility of this sociopath’s demise; she’s at least responsible for the murder of four people, and when her web of accomplices start singing like canaries, there may be more.
She lands on Tracy, breaks his back, and her epee pierces his assistant. So she runs away, and Tracy is confined to a wheelchair, teams up with Ironside………
Following traditional villain plot line escape routes; a suspended girder should shortly be swinging by, so she can make her escape to fight another day…..
Didn’t the last story (I think it was the last story) kind of end the same way when the bad guy ran up a staircase in an old warehouse and ended up falling down into pigeon droppings?
I can personally see her hanging by a very ripped dress, and a leg turned almost around in extreme pain. No need to kill her off, Hangin’s too good fer her! er….well hanging by a dress and a painful leg?
Why I’d never wear high heels, gods how do other gals wea’r ‘em? Walk around home, you’d sink to your ankles in mud and dirt (and other things (ahems)) :)
So yesterday she appeared to be heading down. Today we see she is heading up. Tomorrow I expect she will be heading down the hard way. Too bad there won’t be any pigeon guano to break her fall. That would be original.
On the Spiral Staircase to Nowhere (actually, to the upper levels of the library’s book stacks), the panicky ex-Ice Queen X. Libris makes the mistake of turning to make her retort to Tracy and so catches her unfortunately high heel on the fancy wrought iron work of the spiral railing and loses her balance and her sword. I suppose tomorrow’s Sunday wrap-up will show or at least say that she fell over the railing and ended up ground-level impaled on her own sword. Too predictable, but within the internal logic of this story. Not a very exciting ending, and one likely to leave many dangling threads, most of all concerning Xaviera’s murderous motivation….

Ahhh … the King Kong ending …. or was it the Witch in Snow White …?
Sigh … the Villains usually fall from high places … don’t they?
Maybe she’ll land on her feet … or does she fall on her sword??

Death by spiral staircase. Will the villains’ architects never learn?

She makes a last ditch stand and gets her heel caught in the rails. Maybe Tracy will be Sir Galahad and catch her. Here Liz hold my gun.

Stop the presses! Hold the phone! What happened to the case she wacked Tracy with? It must have contained incriminating evidence.

Oh WOW! Perfect ending if she’s run through by her beloved sword. Ouch ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ.. How appropriate. Live by the sword, you die by the sword

If she survives her fall, the lady will be tried, convicted and serve out her sentence in a wheelchair. Chances are she’ll have a motorized model.

Question,,,is it still action if it’s predictable?

What would really be justice would be if she fell and broke her back, leaving her as a quadriplegic.
