Let’s be honest, in the US, it is always an election year.

Love your country. Protect your democracy and your freedoms. Vote. If you don’t, somebody will take it away from you and you will have a dictatorship. And yes, EVERY vote is important. Your vote is one of the most valuable things you have . Don’t let anyone take it away from you.

Russia, EU, UK, Germany, France, USA, Mexico… elections everywhere !

And what a campaign season it will be, too. Between Dopey Joe coming to you live from his basement and Trump the Many-Lawsuited, will we even get a debate?

Oh come on. New year was in April during B.C.

EVERY year is an election year! It’s important that you vote in local and state elections too! They are just as important a presidential elections. Also, it’s imperative that more people vote in primaries. Right now, only the most extremist voters are choosing who runs in the election. Vote every year, not just in November, and not just every 4 years, for the good of everyone!

So much for the joy of ringing in the New Year…election year or not, hoping that you all have a wonderful 2024!

In 2020 I skipped the presidential election entirely. I could not bring myself to vote for either idiot, Biden or Trump. Now it’s 4 years later and maybe…WHAT? Biden and Trump? What is wrong with this country.

In the US.. it’s always election time.. which is why nothing can get accomplished. Instead of working on & fulfilling the promises made that got them elected, they are busy raising funds for the next election. Take a hint from your Northern neighbors on elections. Ours have problems as well but at least they don’t drag on forever.

Nowadays it seems like every year is an election year. I wish they’d give it a rest. (“They” being the news media AND the politicians)

Since campaigning makes me feel like a verbal punching bag, I would like to establish October as Campaign Month. So no campaigning January through September of any election year. Let the dirty tricksters and the normal ads compete for our votes for just 31 days. I think I’d feel better.

Don’t worry, voting is not compulsory. Sit back, relax and let it all slide on by.
