AI? So he not knows there something called spell check which around for over a decade, something that correct spelling which not necessarily a AI? Buuut, its called writing eh.
“AI is always perfect.” Add AI to “Things Tom Thinks He Understands, But Doesn’t.” The joke is funny, running as it does right after the AI-generated Willy Wonka Fyre Festival in Scotland. (Everything there went PREFEKT)
A lot of journalists will have to do some mis-spelling to let the public know it was written by them and not AI generated. Not a bad idea brought across in this comic strip.

I heard Batton Thomas say that in Peewee Herman’s voice. “I meant to do that.”

It’s called writing poorly.

Ironically, one of the most misspelled words is “misspelled.”

As much as I worry about AI, it would do a better job with this…

What? You don’t know how to teach an AI to make spelling “mistakes”? Apparently, all you need to do is to train it on your previous strips.

“Wow. I bet you get a lot of emails about it when people correct you, huh?”
“No…no, actually, nobody’s ever noticed.”

And if the comic really isn’t up to snuff that day people will scream over the misspelling and can thus be dismissed.

I thought that AI’s were supposed to be able to mimic us, “warts,” and, all?

Navajos believe nothing is perfect, except for the Gods. To honor the Gods, Navajo weavers deliberately incorporate an imperfection in their rugs.

“I deliberately make poor quality work.” is not a statement to be made with pride.

If he really wanted to make sure people knew a person was drawing, just portray normal looking hands and feet.
