I thought it was cats and nature that abhorred a vacuum. Dogs, not so much.

My dog simply gets in the way when I vacuum, so if the weather permits, he gets evicted to the yard until I am done.

Our dog used to follow my wife around when she vacuumed, even though she (the dog) was obviously frightened. I think the dog was there to protect my wife if the vacuum turned on her.

Oh, no! That outlet’s not properly grounded – that’s dangerous! Then again, how the heck did they install an outlet in solid rock?
